WASHINGTON -- Now that health-care reform has reached the Senate floor without a single Republican vote, four Democrats are vying to become King of the Hill by demanding laundry lists of changes in exchange for their votes -- prompting liberals to vow not to be held hostage by a few foot-draggers.
Majority Leader Harry Reid got the bill to the floor by a 60-39 vote, the narrowest possible margin.
The close vote provided a vivid demonstration of each Democrat's ability to sink President Obama's top domestic priority -- or use his vote to try to extract concessions
Sen. Ben Nelson (Neb.) has emerged as a leading critic, and said yesterday he had delivered a two-page letter to Reid suggesting changes, after voting to bring up the bill Saturday.

Talk about political suicide. Bill Nelson of Florida is supporting the 500 Billion cut and rationing of care to Seniors. He must be a total Obammunist Fanatic.

The Rats are going to use the nuclear option, so this horror is going to pass in the Senate.
Well they have to hurry and get the destruction of Health Care done so they can move on to destroy Jobs.
If the next vote will only need 51 to pass then Reid is not going to care about 4 votes. (60 - 4 = 56 can still pass)
Their tough talk is not going to get them any perks, to late.

Health care “reform” is making me SICK! They’re all just a bunch of back stabbing, two-faced hypocrits & they all should be tarred & feathered & run out of town.
Exactly, that’s how these 3 Rats will try to salvage their job, “We didn’t vote on the final bill and we couldn’t do anything to stop it. Pay no attention that we voted to advance the bill.”

By focusing on whether or not the WORD abortion is in this Republic-killing bill, they completely detract from the subject of KILLING THE REPUBLIC.
Instead, they pat themselves on the back that they got the WORD abortion taken out of the Socialist Monstrosity when everyone with an IQ over 60 knows that any liberal judge can get abortion funding back into the law about 30 seconds after it becomes the LAW OF THE LAND.
So it's not just the rats who are playing bait-and-switch.
We're doing it to ourselves.
