Lawyer: 9/11 Defendants Seek Platform For Views (Will Use Court to Put U.S. on Trial)

A lawyer for one of the five men facing trial for the Sept. 11 attacks says the men plan to plead not guilty and use the trial venue to express their political views.

Attorney Scott Fenstermaker said his client Ali Abd al-Aziz Ali and the others will not deny their role in the 2001 attacks but will tell the jury "why they did it."

He said that the men will explain "their assessment of American foreign policy."

Fenstermaker met with Ali last week at the U.S. prison at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba. He has not spoken with the others but said the men have discussed the trial among themselves.

The Justice Department announced earlier this month that the men would face a civilian federal trial in a New York City courthouse. The department did not immediately respond to a call seeking comment.

The US Attorney that will prosecute KSM is Preet Bharara , former legal counsel to..wait for it..Chuck Schumer.
A woman with connections to 9/11 victims wrote an article this week about the trial of the 20th hijacker, Moussaoui .
She attended the trial in VA and said Moussaoui would wait until the judge and jury had left the courtroom before screaming his anti American diatribes.
KSM screamed similar things during his military tribunal at Gitmo , before Barry aborted the proceedings .
KSM and his ilk will play to the willing US media and everyone knows it.

If you put a radical Muslim on the stand and he knows he has the world's ear don't think he will be anything but a radical Muslim. A hundred lawyers couldn't handle him into saying what a defendant should be saying. No, he will try to use the opportunity to make his case and if he does that he will show all the world exactly what radical Islam is all about. I don’t know if it can happen, but it’s going to take about 4-5 years for this to get to court. If it takes that long, can the new administration, and I don’t think Zero will be the president, take the trials off of the table?
