It read: "President Obama has pledged that health insurance reform will not add to our federal budget deficit over the next decade. Do you think that President Obama will be able to keep his promise or do you think that any health care plan that Congress passes and President Obama signs will add to the federal budget deficit?"
The answer: Less than one-fifth of the voters -- 19 percent of the sample -- think he will keep his word. Nine of 10 Republicans and eight of 10 independents said that whatever passes will add to the torrent of red ink. By a margin of four to three, even Democrats agreed this is likely.
That fear contributed directly to the fact that, by a 16-point margin, the majority in this poll said they oppose the legislation moving through Congress.

Even RAT voters know bammy/Reid/PelosLIE are lying.

So, where were they before this monstrosity went before the Senate today? Did the DEMS and Independents let the senators know their unhappiness with this?
Neither house of Congress gives a flying rats ass about what the American people want. They are there for themselves and they simply want to perpetuate their power. We will have to cause the ultimate fall of this false government. It is the right thing to do and it is time to do it. Let’s start the process of taking our country back.

I think the RATS know (and are being told), and I think they’re hoping against hope that somehow the tide will turn toward them.
I also think more and more independents are involved in the Tea Parties and such. I know I’ve met Ron Paul supporters and indepedents at Tea Party events.

in Nov 2010 those who were in favor of it will be thinking “yeah, I’m glad that passed. Yawn, is American Idol on tonight?” Those who were against it will be looking for blood.
I read DAvid broder religouslsy. he is one of the few MSM writers i respect. But, if you want to read him without giving clicks to the Washington compost try this conection below.

Straight party-line vote, then?
The lemming 'Rats in the Senate are turning a deaf ear to the wishes of their constituents. Assuming fair elections, many of them are going to pay the price at the polls for taking this ride off a steep cliff. But that would be nothing compared to the malignant effect of this nonsense on the fabric of our society. Expect mass civil disobedience if they attempt to implement their plan, assuming they are able to pass it.
BTW, did anyone notice that they wouldn't have had the 60th vote they need if Franken and friends hadn't cheated Coleman out of his seat in Minnesota?
Thanks for the ping!
Assuming fair elections...
That is an awfully big assumption! You know what happens when one ass/u/me s, right?
But I do get your point. ;*)

But if Broder is (more) sensible, the its good for WaPo to get *those* clicks, right?

I heard the clown in diapers yell a loud ‘aye’ as if to punctuate the injury he and his handler minions perpetrated upon the good people of Minnesota. Believe me, the good people of Washington State know something about this injury (with the RATS’ Gregoire thievery of the 2004 election perpetrated against Dino Rossi.)
Here you have David Broder, one of their own shills in their favorite newspaper, the WaPo, alerting the 'Rats to the unpopularity of their bill. Yet they are voting without exception for bringing this monstrosity to debate in the Senate. Thanks justiceseeker93.
