What's $100 million of taxpayer money between a few U.S. Senators?
After reports surfaced, originally from ABC News, and subsequently commented upon by prominent lefties, like U.S. News and World Report's Bonnie Erbe as my colleague Noel Sheppard pointed out, Sen. Mary Landrieu, D-La., took the Senate floor on Nov. 21 to announce she would vote in favor to proceed forward with the Senate Democratic leadership's health bill. But she also took time to respond to allegations that $100 million earmarked for the Louisiana was added to that legislation to sway her vote by referring to the likes of ABC News correspondent Jonathan Karl and Erbe as "very partisan Republican bloggers."
"I know that might time is up, but I would like to ask personal privilege for just one more minute to address an issue that has come up unfortunately in the last 24 hours by some very partisan Republican bloggers so I need to respond I think and will do so now," Landrieu said. "One of the provisions in the framework of this bill that I've just decided to move on to debate has to do with fixing a very difficult situation that Louisiana is facing and any other state that might have a catastrophic disaster - let's hope they don't - like we did in 2005."

While Mary it in the bill that Louisiana and only Louisiana gets the $100 million so money for a vote is a bribe in my book.
With ACORN her seat is very safe. Just like the last election. The vote numbers for the city of New Orleans were very late coming in, the last actually, as they had to run out and pick up busloads of blacks and get them to the polls all the while telling them WHO to vote for. We may have to put up with a congress that has some prostitutes, but let’s at least call it what it is: Bribery.....
I remember the old days when regular folks went to jail for such things on the radio: play my record I’ll build you a pool....get caught and get fired....
But today we even practice reciprocal bribery: I give you 100 million, you throw me a fund raiser....my, my how we have grown.....
And the real sweetner in this is that these criminals use OUR money to do the bribing......Bowow and Peeelosi bribe the house and Bowow and Reid bribe the senate.....with OUR money to vote AGAINST what we want....
And they wonder if Madame President is good enough or smart enough to be a part of that......I’m amazed she cares enough about WE THE PEOPLE that she would even bother...
At least with a Whore you are getting something you want......with these people you are getting something you don’t want shoved down your throats and paid for with your own money.....
Some in Congress give prostitution a bad name, and I appologize to the hard working women in the “adult services” field for any slight I might suggest by placing some congress people on the same level....they clearly don’t raise that high.

Some how we here in Louisiana can’t get this type trash hauled to the curb for disposal!
In other words, she’s happy to have had Harry Reid buy her vote, except he really gave her more money than was reported. In the end, it will be the tax payers of Louisiana who will pay for HER vote both in dollars and in poorer health care.
