HALIFAX, Nova Scotia -- U.S. Sen. John McCain says he enjoyed reading Sarah Palin's new memoir and says the tension between his campaign aides and hers is no big deal.
But McCain likened the tension of a campaign to combat in an interview Saturday with The Associated Press on the sidelines of the Halifax International Security Forum.

After reading stories about a possible primary challenge for McCain, I began to wonder, if asked to choose sides between McCain, and maybe JD Hayworth, who Sarah would campaign for.
I don't think it's an easy answer.
She strikes me as fiercely loyal (McCain), but she's also made it clear that her desire is to advance strong conservative values (Hayworth).

If that did happen and she backed McCain, I will not vote for her. It would show that she talks big but still has that Republican “good ole boys” attitude. I'm guessing though that she would back Hayworth.

There is no reason to doubt McCain’s sincerity in this matter.
The chumps who “managed” his campaign, however . . .

You don’t have to be present for cloture if you are going to vote no anyway. Cloture requires 60 yes votes to pass. If they can’t get 60 yeses, no cloture, no matter how many are in attendance.

I agree. I her book, she had nothing but the highest praise for McCain. None of her frustrations were directed at him personally.
