The Associated Press "fact check" of Sarah Palin's new book wasn't enough. Now the left is just coming out and claiming Palin is a flat out liar. That was the argument made by Bella DePaulo in a Psychology Today blog entitled "Sarah Palin's Lies."
DePaulo, who has a Harvard Ph.D. in psychology and experience in analyzing lying, claims Palin excels at it. "From my post as an outside observer, it seems to me that Sarah Palin doesn't care much about the truth. In that way, she is a very special liar," she wrote in the Nov. 19 "Living Single" blog.

And I suppose, on the flip side, that she thinks Bill and Hillary, and our current president all tell the truth. Despite the fact that they have been caught in many lies over the years.
Sounds like this “expert” used the same methodology as a pet psychic.
At least in the last few years I see a tiny, tiny, bit of improvement. Some outside the junkies are noticing. But, I think the majority still think the MSM are credible and real.

What I find quite remarkable is the fact that alleged professionals such as DePaulo find the time, and dredge up the temerity, to attack Sarah - as though they were submitting a formal professional statement. All one actually finds in DePaulo’s rather pathetic and silly comments is that she doesn’t support her remarks about lying. I suspect that she is quite close to deserving a formal criticism from the American Psychological Association. But then, poor Bella, she is simply vituperating over the Palin Happy and Well Oriented American Family Syndrome, as opposed to Bella’s “if it doesn’t hurt, it’s OK” mewling.
Easy to see why she’s writing articles for singles columns.

Odd that a psychologist would not be familiar with the concept of “projection”.

Since she is treading perilously close to diagnosing someone she has never examined, yeah. Sorta like that book about W by the shrink.
Pointing out lies would seem to be the minimum requirement for calling someone a liar, wouldn’t it? I am the author of a book about lies/lying and I think this Professor is full of herself. Once upon a time PT was a good magazine with serious articles. That was a very long time ago. Now it is repulsive.
