Obama Says A Baby Is A Punishment
Obama: If they make a mistake, I dont want them punished with a baby.
Technically, a "sex change" is cosmetic surgery.....
.....that would be taxed.
My guess is, this will not be noticed and "sex changes" will be covered and NOT taxed.
Japan, Australia, and Canada already have socialized health insurance.
“They are going for it. They will create 15M new voters, and 90% will vote for Demos in 2010.”
You are far too optimistic. It’ll be 100%.
So that is how they are going to make Medicare more "efficient!" ASSHATS!!!!!!!!!!!
“religious objector” I saw that. Does that mean the atheist in my family who, for the most part, push this public health care will get a pass?
Rahm’s brother is a whack job! His “arc of care” is only concerned with those age 14 to age 40. Up until 14 society has not invested enough in you...so you are dispensable. After 40 they don’t want you around period.
And I have the sinking feeling today that this is going to pass. I dont know why, just my gut tells me so.
I hate to admit it, but with regards to pushing an agenda, the far left is just better than us conservatives. We’re seeing it today. Its because they think long term. They dont care if they only get power once every 20 years, because when they do, they use the opportunity to push the country to the left. They do this, I believe, knowing full well that it may cost them power for another 20-30 years. But so what? As P.J. O’Rourke put it, “Republicans run on the platform that government doesnt work, and then get elected and prove it”. Even if they suffer disaster in the election following, they have moved the flag. Conservatives run on not letting the country move futher to the left, and then do or dont follow through with it. Then the next time a lib gets elected, we move a little or a lot more left.
So here’s how it goes. Jimmah Carter gets elected, and its a disaster and he only gets one term...but he manages to institute the Dept of Energy (which, by the price of gas, you can tell has worked oh so well), and the Department of Education (which has worked nearly as well as the Dept of Energy).
We then get a great, and I mean Great, President in Ronald Reagan. He moves the country back to the right economically and recovery ensues...but we never get rid of the institutionalized bureaucracy that Carter put in place. George Bush 1.0 gets in, and although he certainly wasn’t as bad as Carter, he wants to compromise with the left, and this leads to Clinton. Clinton moves to the left, although his self preservation instinct kicks in once his radical left proposals on health care go down in flames, and he moderates, at least publicly.
Follwed by George W. Bush, who runs on a Reagan platform, but then turns out to be a lot more like his dad. Bush did his best on National defense, and we owe him a debt for that, but he had a lot of his dad in him on domestic policy, and just couldn’t get it through his head that the Democrats in Washington weren’t the Democrats from Texas.
Which leads us to Zero. He’s an Idealist, and I honestly dont think he cares if he gets elected again, as long as he gets health care done...and he’s managed to get a lot of lemmings in congress to go with him. He’s not going to get the stinging defeats that Clinton got, that made him realize that he doesn’t have a chance if he doesnt move to the center.
Now, we may very well spank them in 2010, but at best we may move back to the right or stand pat, we are never, ever going to get rid of this Government Health Care plan.....and then, in 20 years when the Dems get power again, it will be another shift to the left.
It’s going to get bad, folks. I dont see any way around it.
I’ve always thought there were more “senior” conservatives and they tended to get to the polls more consistently than younger voting demographics. What better way to deal with this than cutbacks in Medicare. Why don’t they just relegate them to the internment camps. This is all about GOVERNMENT CONTROL!
Is this an honest to G.. quote? Where did you find this? I’d love to pass it on.
“They are not this stupid, are they?”
Uh....YES, they are.
Reasons why our vacation home isn’t in one of those countries.
That hardly makes sense, these idiots are all boomers or older! I cannot for the life of me figure where they are going with this, except the total destruction of our country.

Why don’t we all just say “No”! Like Nancy Reagan said..”Just Say No!” If the bill passes we need to all say “No”! I am going to say No because I am not paying for Murder and selling out my soul..Nope, No, Notta!
LOL ... They are exempt... They are not going on the public option... remeber someone wanted an amendment that was going to make them give up their cushy Free Healtcare (TAXPAYER PAID) and go on the public plan but they said no.
This is for US... The middleclass the working Poor.... We are screwed.
