President and Mrs. Bush served our country with honor and dignity and remain committed to improving our nation and the world through the George W. Bush Presidential Center. The Center will be located on the campus of Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas, a rising national university in a major metropolitan city in the heartland of America.
The George W. Bush Presidential Center uniquely integrates the records of a national archive, the thematic exhibits of a presidential museum, and the intellectual capital of a research-based policy institute to advance ideas based on the core principles of the Bush Presidency: freedom, opportunity, responsibility and compassion.
The Center will tell the story of a defining period in our countrys history and serve as a platform from which world‑class scholars conduct serious, independent research aimed at generating practical solutions to important public policy problems.

And this insanity is totally emblematic of THEM and the most thoroughly rotten CIC since Carter .. or maybe ever!

"After an afternoon of golf at Andrews Air Force Base, POTUS made a quick stop at the White House before heading out again at 6 p.m,. for what pool is told is a birthday dinner for senior adviser Valerie Jarrett, at her condo in Georgetown. The rest of the first family will also be arriving separately for the bday bash. (7:02 p.m.)
Yes, how routinely life goes on for him .. ho hum. How can someone be so despicable, so cold and cruel, with our patient troops suffering and dying??? Talk about sociopathically tone deaf .. damn him.
Yes, Pres. Bush ... we and our brave military dearly miss your common sense .. your decency and leadership.

Simple... he has bigger balls than everyone else in America. Nobody challenges him so he pushes on toward his goal of destroying white America...

Where are his memoirs? I want to read them. I hope they will be helpful to our Country today. How long is it going to take for them to come out??? He could also write other books. I hate the silence.

I would quibble with the location ... Not me...it is his/their decision. If you listen to their speeches, SMU means a great deal to them. Have you ever been to Midland? Not much there.

This is President Bush we are talking about -- of course they will be helpful.
How long is it going to take for them to come out???
IIRC, President Bush's book will be out next fall. FL Laura's book will be out in the spring.
He could also write other books.
Perhaps he will. He has been out of office exactly ten months...how much do you expect him to do in 10 months?
I hate the silence.
Huh?

Keep in mind that this Moonman actually believes that a Marxist usurper who hates our military and hates the nation he's supposed to be leading, and hates the people who live IN that nation, and who is seeking to destroy EVERYTHING we hold dear, and is ripping the country apart with a level of evil we have never seen in Washington, IS A BETTER PRESIDENT THAN GEORGE W. BUSH!!!
It is TRULY insane. There is no better word for what he has exhibited repeatedly on this thread.....INSANITY.

Have you ever been to Midland? Not much there.I know that. But that's where GWB spent the most part of his life.
Plus, a presidential library/center need not be in a big city. Franklin D. Roosevelt's is in Hyde Park, NY. And even more to the point, Dwight Eisenhower's is in little Abilene, KS, where he grew up.

I'm guessing that the strongest motivation for building it in a big city like Dallas is the Policy Institute.
It would be much more difficult for people coming in to go to Midland.
Remember that this, in keeping with the President's humility, is not a "memorial" to him. It's an ongoing policy institute to promote liberty, faith and conservative principles throughout the U.S. and the world. More far reaching than the usual "library."

These are not times to keep gentleman's white gloves on. Cheney speaks out against Obama, when will President Bush? This man is out to destroy our Country as quickly as he can and he has a majority of Congress to help him. This is not politics as usual. I agree that in normal times the last President should stay out of the current President's decisions but these are so far from normal times that it is not funny. It is time for everyone to let their voice be heard loud and clear about what is taking place in this our Country! It is a matter of patriotism and love for our Country.
