Former presidential candidate Sen. John McCain said Thursday he has read Sarah Palin's book and has no regrets about picking her as a running mate.
(snip)
He also said if Mrs. Palin decides to run for president in 2012 and becomes the Republican Party nominee he would vote for her.
"I hope she has every success," Mr. McCain said. "She's still pretty popular."

Well isn’t this special. Wonder what his reelection numbers are showing. I mean her being still ‘pretty’ popular and all.
To: Z in Washington
Sooooooo....
Saying he supports her is a bad thing?

As long as Mr. Waffle doesn't waffle back, his kind words help Palin.
There's a lot of RINO's/independents who will listen to what he has to say.

Feel free to quote what I actually said.

She starts selling a ton of books and now McCain speaks well of her. What an incredibly mystifying coincidence!Sounds to me like Queeg is fishing for a Palin endorsement to save his sorry arse next November.

His poll numbers in Arizona must really be in the tank. Any idea as to what the polls show? The reason why I say this is because every time he was asked in the past he mentioned Pawlenty and Romney and Huckabee, now all of a sudden he would vote for Sarah. Something tells me he is pitching for a Sarah endorsement in 2010, knowing she feels obligated to him

Kiss of death.
Next the NYT, then the democrats?
I hope she doesn’t support him in his Senate run.

Yep. It’s ‘please come and help me stay in office, Sarah. I love you, love you, love you. Then I’ll turn on you when I’m re-elected. Oops.”

He is going to use her to stump for his campaign. You watch. If he makes it, then she should stump for him in the general for party unity. She should stay out of he primary, however.

Your question conveyed a misrepresentation of my statement.
Your misrepresentation was addressed, and there was no substance to your question beyond that misrepresentation.
To: Z in Washington
I misrepresented nothing, and you addressed nothing.
You seem to have a problem answering the question though.

You could also look at this as the moderate GOPers seeing the writing on the wall. Palins new poll numbers are even or better than Obummer. The last election also showed that a conservative message is the winner. The tea parties had a great effect. Look at how exercised Brooks, Frum and the other Rhinos are getting. Results speak for themselves no matter the spin.

He also said if Mrs. Palin decides to run for president in 2012 and becomes the Republican Party nominee he would vote for her. Gee that is very enthusiastic of him.
