I actually feel embarrassed for my comment in Post 13.
It was really bad MA etiquette and I sounded more like the untrained bully in a bar than an experienced martial artist. As an instructor, I taught and required my students NOT to be the bully but to put the bully in his place, if necessary. And I sounded like a bully, which I despise. Of course, Obammie the Commie IS a bully of the worst sort. He gets others to bully the innocent and never faces any direct confrontation himself. That’s part of the reason why I dislike him so intensely.
What I should have said was that, after so many years training, I did see people awarded black belts who had not earned them and who did not deserve them. I also saw many brown belts who were better than black belts but would not test and take the belt because their own personal standards wouldn’t allow them to.
When those awarded black belts who didn’t deserve them fought at the black-belt level, it didn’t take long for them to understand they were not true black belts.
What I want is for Obammie the Commie to learn that he deserves nothing because he has really worked for nothing in his life. He has been pushed up through the ranks by affirmative action and by those who wanted to use him for ulterior motives. But his narcissism enables him to believe that he has earned all these accolades.
I was a great, temporary mental image and worth a laugh. :0)
I would be honored to have an instructor like you.
Well... I suppose I see your point. My old sensei would always arrange for a humility lesson at the hands of another student who HAD earned it. Whether the intended lesson was absorbed or not was up to the recipient... (pleading the 5th here.)
Don't be too critical of yourself, considering the situation.
I second that, and as for the other stuff, you should hear what's said about him in my circles.
Interesting comments. I do not understand this one. What is it about their personal standards that did not allow them to take a black belt?
