The defense will now have more crap to appeal IF they lose. Probably part of the great zero’s plan so his brother goat fornicators get off.
What he means to say is he wants to air this dirty laundry in order to emasculate the long defunct Bush administration, and he thinks the show trial will otherwise end up with the results he knows the public wants.
This is federal not state.
It’s going to be impossible to convict KSM unless the judge ignores all sorts of precedence regarding tainted juries and 5th Amendment rights and such, and the appellate courts agree to overlook the judge’s ignoring it, which means why not just have it in front of a military tribunal after all?
If they’ve already found a verdict, why have the trial?

It still blocks anyone in NY from carrying out the act. They have at least one person from a federal case sitting in Death Row limbo there now because of this. In other words, the federal court can sentence him, but no facility in New York will actually act on it.

Since even the President of the United States has pronounced him guilty, I’d say there is no way he can get a fair trial.
There isn’t a jury in the country that isn’t already tainted beyond any possible presumption of innocence.
I’d say, right after we get Bush and Cheney in the dock, we let him go and write him a check in compensation for the endless violations of his constitutional rights under the Bush-Cheney cabal. Maybe he can sue Bush personally, and move into that ranch in East Texas...
OK, enough of that. Seriously, Holder needs to be impeached and removed from office. O himself needs to be run out on a rail. Sooner is better than later.
