Vatican Backs Obama’s Global Agenda
AIM ^ | 11/18 | Cliff Kincaid

Some pro-life Catholics reacted with shock to the news that the Vatican warmly greeted the awarding of the Nobel Peace Prize to President Obama, who is pro-abortion. They don't seem to understand that the Vatican and Obama agree on most major international issues. This is the untold story-how Obama and the Vatican accept major ingredients of what has been called a New World Order.

Another untold story is how, despite a disagreement over abortion, the U.S. Catholic Bishops and the Obama Administration agree on major aspects of so-called health care reform.

These topics are mostly taboo in the liberal and conservative media. Liberal and conservative Catholics alike would prefer not to discuss how the Catholic Church, here and abroad, functions like a liberal/left-wing political lobby.

But the facts should not be much of a surprise. A majority of Catholics voted for Obama, despite the fact that his pro-abortion record was well known, and when he was honored at Notre Dame, the premier Catholic University in the U.S., only about one-third of U.S. Catholic Bishops publicly objected.

The Nobel Committee's

Maybe I learned it when the King of France appointed the French Popes..

Maybe how Reagen working with the Pope and church to end communism or how the church and government help in WWII and through the French revolution.

Is your point that the church in its 1,000 of years of history is not connected - both good and bad.

My point was power always tries to keep the people down no matter who it is.

“The Vatican expressed the hope that “this most important recognition will ultimately encourage such a difficult but fundamental commitment for the future of humanity, so that it might bring the expected results.”

The “expected results” are evident when one considers that Pope Benedict, the leader of 1.2 billion Catholics, had endorsed a “World Political Authority,” a form of world government, in his recent encyclical “Caritas in Veritate.””

The “expected results are documented in advance in the books of Daniel and Revelation, and include the Antichrist, the Beast and the False Prophet ruling the world.

"Better to know what is being said so people can discuss it and bring it to the attention of their Parish Priest if they should so choose."

You are right. I have confronted the assistant pastor in the church parking lot after Mass just once for advocating some socialist crap from the pulpit. (It was several years ago and I can't remember the specific topic). He tried to defend his position but finally jumped in his car and left. I don't care if he is a priest, I will confront a socialist advocate. If this is official church policy, I would leave the church. Unlike 0bama.

Well, I hear outrage and mudslinging, where is the refutation of the points of the article?

Kincaid may be anti Roman Catholic, that does not mean his information is incorrect, mere outrage is cheap paint trying to cover over a hole in the wall.

As for myself, I can somewhat believe it, the RCC always prefers order and from such frameworks seeks to help the poor via govt largesse.

How quickly some forget that a retired Jesuit from Brazil was almost elected Pontiff over Cardinal Ratzinger.

“Cliffy is just another anti-catholic bigot masquerading as a journalist.”

Is it possible to say anything but praise for the Catholic Church without being called a bigot?

Apparently, many of the Bishops reject Obama's health plan outright. But ALL of them reject any health care bill that would allow for the public funding of abortion. I believe the Catholic Church has been the most outspoken group AGAINST Obamacare.

The official line that I've heard in church for the last month is that the "health care" bill doesn't do enough for poor and illegal immigrants and of course they don't like abortion in it.

Not by some people. They don't like the truth. Want to see the official Catholic line? Go to the American Conf of Catholic Bishops' web site and look under "Social Justice". Right from Marx.

I was called a bigot the other day for daring to suggest that the Catholic Church has a problem with social justice issues because a majority voted for Obama last election.

Seems yelling "bigot" is the popular MO among Catholics who are criticized these days, at least on FR. When I compared the practice to what Maxine Waters and the far left does I was then called a racist!

This is being misrepresented, do not trust a progress(liberal) to tell you what is in the print media. Globalization, he said, “is an opportunity to create a network of understanding and solidarity among peoples, without reducing everything to merely commercial or pragmatic exchanges He is against the public option. His words are being taken out of context to make a pretext.
Trust we will as Rush clean up this mess

“The American Conference of Catholic Bishops’ web site reads like it was written by Marx and Lenin .”

The Roman Catholic Church has been infiltrated by Humanist,Liberation Theology spouting leftists.

Rumor has it that the third Fatima secret had nothing to do with Pope John Paul II’s assassination attempt but rather the internal collapse of the Roman Catholic Church by the communists and their supporters.
