Call it the case of the Sarah Palin book-alikes.
The competing covers of a pair of high-profile hardcovers about Sarah Palin are already proving difficult to distinguish.
"Going Rogue: An American Life," the long-awaited memoir from the former Republican vice-presidential nominee, arrived on bookstore shelves today.
So did "Going Rouge: Sarah Palin An American Nightmare," which features similar book-jacket graphics and a nearly identical cover photo of the controversial former Alaska governor.
An online version of a Canadian Press story about Palin's book carried the wrong cover image for about three hours early Tuesday; the cover of "Going Rouge" was also used to illustrate a piece during CBC's "The National" on Monday night.

All this is is an unpaid ad for the parody book.
The left is all about lies and trying to fool people. It’s their standard M.O.
can you use someones image to make money without their permission?
Only causes problems for those who can neither read, discern, or spell
Gee, what a coincidence! The covers look alike! I wonder why?
Thanks for pointing this out, Google.
They are obsessed to an unhealthy degree. When was the last time somebody made a parody of a politician’s book?
There may be a copyright infringement here...
The serpant’s trick in the Garden was a very slight misquote.
No surprise liberals use that play book.
I suppose it’s more of a problem for those who have difficulty reading the actual words on the cover.
The target audience of the Sarah book can actually read.
somehow I get the feeling that if I tried to parody Dreams from My Father in this way I’d be hearing from many, many lawyers...
I just don’t understand the hate; the left’s obsession with belittling everything she does. They slander, attempt to embarrass and humilify every aspect of her life. Disgusting!
I don’t love her, but those liberal arseholes sure do hate her. Hayna or no?
One thing for sure - the misleading book is a problem for any bookstore that stocks it. No business wants that kind of headache.
Only those that can’t read will purchase the wrong Book.
I wouldn’t be surprised if palin could sue the authors of that book for using her photo without her permission to sell books.
This is nothing less than a deliberate attempt to deceive and defraud consumers and to steal profits from Governor Palin and her publisher. An immediate court order ought to be sought to halt all sales of the forgery.
I believe to a great extent the source of their industrial grade, foaming-at-the-mouth insanity over Sarah is based on their fear that she, a female member of the dreaded conservative movement, could possibly become the first female president or vice-president.
In their perverted little politically correct world, only a liberal female is worthy of being the first female to shatter barriers. After all - aren't they the self appointed champions of all social change?
Imagine their utter, spittle spraying humiliation if Sarah, Michele Bachmann, or any other conservative female became the first female to win the presidency or vice presidency.
I believe this kind of mindset also had much to do with the unwarranted liberal insanity leading to the selection of Barack Obama over Hillary in the primary elections. They saw an opportunity to be the first party to nominate and elect a negro to the presidency. They calculated that the odds against getting a black elected were much greater than getting a woman elected so they passed Hilary up for an unexpected chance to grab the bigger prize.
.
Well I love what Sarah stands for, but I sure would like to see her polish her oratory skills a bit in the next year or so. Everytime she is interviewed I hold my breath hoping she will do well. (Just as we had to do when George W would speak.)
