Good catch. Agree 100%. Pointing out actions no matter how trivial is one thing, but intentionally misleading just comes back to bite you in the butt.
Nah, no damage to our side.
It takes very little effort to convince people he DOESN’T love this country as opposed to finding ANYTHING in the man’s past that would make one believe he does love America...
Good post. Let’s get it right. There’s plenty of material to work with.
Everyone knew the context of the “Mission Accomplished” photo too.
Look at how that ended up.
Nonsense. It’s fake but accurate. We KNOW he hates the country. He couldn’t WAIT to put his hand down.
The truth shall set you free.
Umm...but we still have that pic with Hillary and Richardson.
Anything on that one?
I don’t think people in the crowd are comparable to the President of The United States of America standing on a stage facing the American public (and the world) and is supposed to be showing leadership in displaying the proper respect to our Military and Vets.
I agree.
And it probably just about killed him to keep it there for as long as he did.
One of the real contributing factors is his total lack of understanding of military protocol. Have you seen the guy salute? It looks like Benny Hill.
There is no need to fake anything about Zero. WHO is responsible for the original production of this Fake.
It would be interesting to see which side it ACTUALLY originated on.
I found nothing false about this. It’s understood where his heart is, and he had both hands over it.
Look, you’re mention of this represents our side well. We are quick to carp, and quick to admit a mistake. We are more than willing to give Obama his due, if he truly deserves it.
Point out where the left gave Bush any credit whatsoever.
Mistakes like this, handled like you have here, represent our side very well.
I appreciate you bringing this to our attention.
Now, what can you say about that ‘oops, I dropped my little Rules for Radicals book’ moment before the Japanese Emperor? LOL
Now these (all you posting in agreement) are my kinda Freepers.
Gets so sad to read so many posts dissing everything to how the guy sneezes.
Keep it real.
Bump for all Freepers who are tired of nonsensical nit picking and stick to the truth of and important issues.
This picture has been identified as having taken place on Memorial Day, not Veteran’s Day.
Michelle, on the other hand, was definitely scratching her nuts......
; )
Sorry but it’s not in me to cut him some slack.
So correct the original misleading content like the New York Times would.
Bury it on page 23...
Well, interesting point.
But the fact remains that everyone else on the dais was still saluting, including the other civilian up there, while Obama’s hands dropped where they normally seem to go—to his crotch.
He’s not just someone in the audience. He’s the President, on display, honoring our country and our dead. If he doesn’t know when to stop saluting, he should have waited for the other guys up there, who have done it before, to play the lead.
Ronald Reagan, in his early days, refused the advice of his advisors, who said he should look preppy and casual like JFK. He told them that he was not JFK and that he would appear to the public with the dignity that the presidency deserves.
Obama doesn’t begin to understand that. It’s all about him—personally—as far as he’s concerned.
So, this photo wouldn’t be getting all this publicity if he hadn’t allowed it to happen by his careless and stupid behavior at a very important public moment.
