Pelosi isn’t giving up Owens. Hoffman lost when he conceded. He should have waited for the absentee votes to come in. Owens now has the illusion of being a Congressman. He has voted yes on the healthcare bill. If the votes come out favoring Hoffman, the House will take it under consideration and determine that Owens isn’t going anywhere. There is a precedent. Check out Indiana Bloody Eighth, 1984.

I agree with you and I'm sure the democrats will cheat in any way necessary to retain Owens. Hoffman didn't lose when he conceded. Firstly, he conceded based upon false information. Secondly, the race has not been certified, which would bring into question the validity of Owens being sworn in.
