So, the A$$HOLE wanted to renege on the doctor/patient privilege and rat on them? What a jerk! Possibly, these soldiers didn’t even commit any war crimes and this incompetent physician probably did NOTHING to assuage their emotions on the subject. I can’t wait until he burns!

“See what you made me do?” didn’t get me out of a spanking when I was six—yet this asshat is using it as his rationale for cold-blooded murder of innocents HE SWORE to be true to.

Drag him by his gonads to a field, give him a hot ham fat enema, and then gut shoot him and let the wolves and the buzzards clean up.

#14: I hope someone is pulling together a cease and desist order through the courts to prevent these war enemies from being prosecuted in our civil courts.

Let’s see a doctor who has to abide by doctor patient priveledge as well as HIPPA rules wants to violate all that and isn’t repremanded or fired but is instead encouraged and promoted —— yeah makes sense to me. BLEEECH

How did this Hasan guy manage to miss a post in the Obama White House?

Wait a minute, I thought he snapped. Now it was premeditated but triggered by US war crimes. PATHETIC.

A side of this story I’ve not seen covered is how much further damage did he do to the soldiers he was supposedly counseling. Having a son who came home with pts, I know that each appt is important. If this guy was using the time to proselytize and keep notes of ‘war crimes’, I’m pretty sure he wasn’t helping them one bit.

Well, perhaps an analyst can correct me if I’m wrong, but I believe it is a major violation of professional principles for a psychiatrist to leak information told to him by a patient in confidence. Much like a priest violating the confessional.
That's my understanding as well - I would think that a psychiatrist breaking a professional confidence would be grounds for dismissal, irrespective of the motives. So that the "discrimination against Muslims" angle could theoretically be finessed. About as well as we can finesse the fact that Obama is black when we criticize him . . .
IF a crime has been committed—a very big IF—then a priest can advise the person confessing to him that he cannot absolve him unless he makes reparation. But he certainly can’t go running to the authorities blabbing about what he was told in confidence.

That’s aside from the fact that this guy considered that simply being over there in Iraq or Afghanistan was a crime against Islam.

. . . or that simply breathing while not Muslim is a capital offence.

I guess when the PTSD defense didn’t wash with the American public the media needed to invent another excuse for this terrorist.

He wasn’t a jihadist, he was a Charles Bronson wanna-be vigilante, heaping out vengeance against those he’d found guilty and sentenced to death....yea that will really fly with the public.

This guy did everything but waive a sign while standing at the front gate of Fort Hood, declaring he was an American hating terrorist, as people drove by winking and nodding.

Gates and the U.S. Army are not happy about all the leaks coming out of this investigation...It's being leaked by people in the military and elsewhere so the truth gets out...

This guy was even signing his emails: "Praise be to Allah"

He was complaining daily that his fellow soldiers should be prosecuted for war crimes.... and they were getting ready to SEND HIM to IRAQ?

Good Lord!

Who is running this military?? Gezzzz

Plenty of people - people whose job it is to notice - people whose job it is to protect us - DID just wink and nod.

The blood and pain and death and misery of the 43 shot is on their miserable excuses for a soul.

Like the last major FAIL, 9/11, there will be ZERO consequences. In fact they will probably be promoted for, as Casey said, protecting the Holy of Holies - DIVERSITY.

Bingo! We are going to find that this Hasan guy was the darling of the left and Obama. They knew exactly who he was and he was used as a ‘source’ for their 8 year anti-america campaign against the wars. That is why they don’t want the congress looking into this and why Obama wants him tried in a military tribunal. Obama doesn’t want to be on trial himself..yet he plans on using the terrorist trials in NY to put the Bush Administration on trial. There are no accidents.

The leftists have been struggling to get their "war crimes" agitprop back in gear after the near-collapse of the Iraq Veterans Against the War. This occurred after most of the IVAW's key leaders were debunked by conscientious milblogger types.

It isn't widely known, but leftist psychologists and psychiatrists played a key role in the earlier Vietnam Veterans Against the War propaganda effort. They worked to convince troubled vets that they could expiate the terrible crimes they had committed by confessing them (Soviet style), and becoming antiwar activists.

Perhaps Hasan was trying to line up something similar for today's Left....

Having mooselimbs in the military is like giving a monkey a gun. When one shoots someone, it’s not the monkey’s fault.

It’s our PC culture that is setting these people up to slaughter innocent US citizens. This guy represents everything that is wrong with this country after 9/11. We actively go against common sense as much as possible.

If I was one of his vict, I mean patients he was seeing I’d be so damn angry at the military. I’d probably take off to God knows where to get the hell away.

When I heard Hasan was even signing his emails: "Praise be to Allah"....

Well....The utter disgust surrounding this entire depressing event is just incredible...Our enemies in Communist China, Russia and the mid-east must be laughing hysterically at this incompetence and national suicide brought to us by the freaks in government that have sponsored this mindless cultural diversity.
