You understand the global jihad post no. 36 BUMP.
“We should never cede victory to an enemy. Never!”
Ditto.
I don’t understand your point.
With regards to my tag, I don’t agree that either domestic or non-domestic animals are sorry for themselves. Neither have that kind of self-awareness.
Reread the full article. The reasons to get out are there.
General McKooKs rules of combat that he uses to handcuff and kill his own troops.
The Times compiled an informal list of the new rules from interviews with U.S. forces. Among them:
No night or surprise searches.
Villagers have to be warned prior to searches.
ANA or ANP must accompany U.S. units on searches.
U.S. soldiers may not fire at the enemy unless the enemy is preparing to fire
U.S. forces cannot engage the enemy if civilians are present.
Only women can search women.
Troops can fire at an insurgent if they catch him placing an IED but not if insurgents are walking away from an area where explosives have been laid.
It’s high-time to save our troops by impeaching the usurping traitor in the Oval office.
Just re-read the post.
Re: animals. Have you ever seen an outside dog in the rain or snow. They aren’t happy and wish they could get inside where its’ warm. They wimper to elicit sympathy. Yeah, they do have a bit of self-awareness.

I will reread the article, but as an Army veteran it will not change my mind. Even if I weren’t a vet or hadn’t met Afghan vets I would still maintain that we remain.
I will not aid and abett an enemy by any name by supporting withdraw and defeat. And that is exactly what it would be.
Thanks! Now, try to explain it to those that think Farah is right. It’s a Glenn Beck moment, “Arguing With....”
So to use your logic, we should have pulled out of Europe and the South Pacific in WWII, and then Korea when the going got tough.
The number to the White House comment line to tell Obama to get off his royal duff is 202-456-1111 or (my personal favorite)202-456-1414.
Yes, of course. "Our" commanders have careers to support. The lives of American young men are dispensable when such noble important factors as that are at stake.
I asked on another thread the following question that no one was willing to answer:
In your opinion what would “winning in Afghanistan” consist of. What exactly would winning accomplish or secure. Do you think anything done in Afghanistan will actually end Muslim terrorism?
Quick quizz: What is the largest Muslim country in the world?
Hank
Yes, the lives of ALL OF OUR MILITARY MEMBERS are disposable - that's part of being in the military. 100% disposable - please let me know you understand this. The military is disposable. We just want to supply them with the means to dispose of 100% of the opposition.
As General Patton said to his soldiers: “Your job is not to die for you country, it's to make the other son-of-a-bitch die for HIS country.”
Winning in Afghanistan means having a country that actually contributes to the world and has a populace which lives in freedom. If they stop producing opium, that would be a bonus.
I believe that the largest Muslim country is Saudi Arabia.
Ending terrorism means making terrorist FEAR attacking us, the US. Simple. Fear is a base and understandable emotion. It is very successful.
You seem to be really, really, off in your judgment.
I have several friends who are in the military - multiple tours in Iraq and Afghanistan and they know the great job we are doing.
Why can't we give our military the support they ask for?
Quote: “Yes, of course. “Our” commanders have careers to support.”
WTF! They have JOBS TO DO!!!!!!!!!!!!!! They need to protect their troops - it's not about a career.
“I believe that the largest Muslim country is Saudi Arabia.”
The largest Muslim country in the world is Indonesia. Many times larger than Saudia Arabia.
I’ll be glad to wager you any amount you choose that Afganistan will not be a free country in your life-time or the life-time of any of your children or grandchildren, or perhaps ever. Are you willing to take that wager? Let’s make the stakes the lives of your children or grandchildren. Are you really willing to wager those precious lives for the sake of something that will never improve the world?
Sorry, but the US military has become as corrupt as all of the rest of the US Government. Wishing it were not so will not make it so. Do you know what happend at Fort Hood. Do you know why?
There are no Pattons in todays military, sad to say, but one cannot make right choices based on what one wished were true.
Hank
Our troops will fight on through the Democrats. We made it through Clinton, we’ll make it through Obama. In the meantime, we don’t come home defeated. If we were to leave that region would be worse for it, and we would be back there at sometime. And it will be tougher.
The naysayers said we couldn’t do what we did in Iraq. They forgot we are Americans.
That is the path of a looser. You are a looser.
Saudi Arabia area 2,149,690 SQ KM
Indonesia's total land area is 1,919,317 square kilometers.
Looser.
Have to call you out on that. Your proof better be rock solid evidence to back up this outrageous claim, instead of baseless innuendo.
Otherwise, you can take your BS over to DU.
That’s your “proof” for a corrupt Army?

These people love our military and understand the GREAT work they do. You should be ashamed of yourself for your idiotic views about our military.
