I couldn't resist posting this. The title qualifies to be in the running as one of the most ridiculous statements of the year.

At $2 Trillion overdrawn, a $787 Billion Whitehouse slush fund, and another $2 Trillion promised, spending is already out of control.

President Barack Obama has promised Asia's creditor nations that Washington will not let US borrowing spiral out of control, vowing a major drive to cut the budget deficit and restore global confidence in the US dollar. Sheeyit. Does he think they don't get FOX News in Asia?
They know as well as we do that he's trying to pass a 1.2 trillion dollar health care bill and we still haven't even passed an FY'10 budget yet which be at least 4 trillion dollars.
And then there's talk of ANOTHER stimulus.

Obama will seize citizens’ wealth? No surprise there, many predicted he would do just that at the earliest opportunity.

The man is truly a gross incompetent. He has not the first clue about how economics works. Comsumption is not "growth." Investment is "growth."
Debt powering investment is a good thing. Debt powering consumption is the very bullshit we have had and are now paying for. How tragic that chicago slim doesn't know the difference.

"As the economy recovers, I intend to take serious steps to reduce America's long-term deficit"He assumes the economy will recover in his first term. And he thinks there's only one way to turn the economy around, and that's through government spending- thereby taking on more debt.

On a serious note. What if all the tea partiers started circulating petitions saying, “As the Taxpayers of the USA and Voters, as soon as we regain control of our Govt. we WILL NOT repay the debt to China and Japan.” and then forward it to their leaders. Can you imagine a few million signatures saying, We will NOT PAY!
