I don't hold it against the players or coach but after inviting Obama to Notre Dame to speak at graduation, I wouldn't be surprised if they don't win another game this season.

I read that Bishop D'Arcy will soon be replaced. He is 77 years old and most bishops leave around 75, and my husband's brother is a priest in Indiana, and we were praying (and joking) that maybe he could be taken in by the South Bend Diocese as bishop and promptly get Jenkins out of that University ... for starters! Anyway, not may priests really SEEK to be bishops, nor are they able to "apply" for the position anyway ... but we dream ...

Another Catholic hater!!!!This Catholic's father was a Boston College grad; hence the ingrained dislike of the Irish. Then as an adult I read "Under The Golden Dome." That was enough for me to despise ND football.

Perhaps the ND liberals who run the catholic college and invite abortion loving president as graduation speaker then perhaps the Almighty graduated to inspire another favorite team instead.
Ahhh—but who knows fer sure!

Just curious - what’s the status of the priests, Ambassador Keyes, Norma McCorvey, et al, who were arrested for trespassing at ND on that fateful day when The School of Our Lady closed the deal that Fr. Jenkins made with the devil?
Last I heard ND was still pressing charges.

The heavens are not pleased, that's for sure ... Satan is powerful and has been attacking ND for quite some time ... they need prayers like never before ...

Any day ND loses is a good day.I'm with buc on this one greg ... so I've had 19 good Saturdays since the beginning of the '07 season.
How is ND's 15-19 record since then working for you.
Oh. and by the way Greg whiner .. your "Catholic hater" comment is part of the ND mindset that makes me despise their football program and its fans
Hook'em (32-4 since '07 ha ha ha ha)

You can also not be Catholic and like Notre Dame football. There are many.
ND needs to decide if they want a “win at all costs” football program where academics take a backseat to athletics. I think that is what it takes to be a perennial Top 10 college football program nowadays. Personally, I hope they do not go that route, but that will also mean that 7-9 win seasons will have to be acceptable. Considering that ND is the second winningist college football program in history, that would be a bitter pill to swallow for many ND football fans.
