Has it ever occurred to Meacham that John McCain was about as center-right as you can get? Did he and his colleagues support him though? No, they supported the ultra-leftist Obama.
Also, Republicans have tried to work with Obama - but what happened? They got the door repeatedly slammed shut in their faces. Newsweek... Once it was a reputable news magazine, but a takeover by hard-left interests have made it little more than a clone of “Mother Jones.”
Why it even retains the word “News” in its name is beyond me. It should be renamed “Libweek.”
