I have to agree with you on that. He'll wait and let the Israelis do it, if at all, so that when the price of oil soars past $200 a barrel as a result they can take all of the blame.
What I clipped and posted from a few other FReepers in posts #95 and #96 capture most of my thoughts.
Where I think you and many others including on FR are missing the point, is that your analysis is based on what we might call 'politicians as usual'. In other words, based on prior experience, you make conclusions.
This guy is not a Clinton, Gore, etc, a lifetime politician. He's a radical, totally anti-western civilization, behind-the-mask Marxist. You cannot use the standard calculations with him.
For example; hitting Iran hard, as you say, will make America look good, require increased military suport and spending, and re-confirm us as a world leader militarily.
Obama wants N-O-N-E of the above for this nation. And by tearing us down, he will build himself up in the eyes, minds, and wallets of those who stand ready and waiting to profit from that.
I’m glad I was “touching”. I may be wrong, but I would not characterize my views as “delusional”.

I can understand Obama being a lazy dunce but even dumber is 0bama letting photographic evidence of this get out. I’ll bet no one can find a photo of GW with his feet up on the White House furniture. This attitude shows disrespect and will inspire confidence in no one
