Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin told Oprah that she is willing to bury the hatchet with Levi Johnston, baby-daddy to her first grandchild, and says that he is welcome at her Thanksgiving table.

Palin told Oprah that she's trying to move past the negative and concentrate on life without drama. Johnston, she says, is part of the family and she's willing to "bring him into the fold" and under her wing.

"And he needs that, too, Oprah, I think he needs to know that he is loved and he has the most beautiful child and this can all work out for good," she says in the interview, which is scheduled to run Nov. 16. "It really can."

Unfortunately for the Palin family, the D-bag is determined to extend his 15 minutes of infamy to the max. Next month, Levi is going to file for joint custody of Trip. Considering his background, I doubt he’ll get his request. But a judge would likely formalized visitation rights along with a formalized child payment schedule for him.

For once I'm going to criticize my hero-ette, Sarah Palin. I wish she would just clam up about Levi.....totally.

Her remarks just feed Levi's responses plus the maw of the tabloid press.

I agree with you. Sarah did the same with Letterman. She said she would forgive anyone who asks for forgiveness. She is pure goodness. There was nothing in her remark that irked me as sarcasm or insincerity. She is total sincerity. She extended a genuine offer to Levi, who has apparently no own family (if you leave out his democrat pimps Butler and Jones), that he will find forgiveness and love if he asks for it.

Of course the filthy punk is too dumb to come clean. Serves him right.
