Honestly, we could get tens of millions of people back there if folks would think about it.
Rent buses. It’s not that expensive, and everyone can chip in. Go on a day trip. Get on one evening about 8:00pm, the driver will have you down there the next morning, and have you home that same evening.
If the eastern seaboard would be diligent about this, we could easily see Washington, D.C. literally grind to a halt for about 12 hours.
I’d do it the first time as nicely as could be done, so as not to disrupt, but if the public officials don’t get it that time, we should go back with 10 million and camp out.
We’re tired of being sold out.

“Napolitano said that she has seen a “major shift” in the immigration landscape," That ugly man is full of shift.

Citizenship to illegals is why obama and the democrats are now worried about ignoring the will of the people on healthcare and cap & trade.

How do they even do a background check on someone who has used 12 different SS numbers and 20 different aliases?

Coming in January to a congress near you with cap and trade as the second showing on the double bill. You don’t have to provide health care for illegals. When no one is illegal it will be provided to them automatically.

A tough and fair pathway to earned legal status will mandate that illegal immigrants meet a number of requirementsincluding registering, paying a fine, passing a criminal background check, fully paying all taxes and learning English, Napolitano said Friday at a panel discussion at the liberal Center for American Progress in Washington, D.C. Same old McCain amnesty lite.

Obama, Erick Holder, and the Obama Czars are all Enemy's of the State. Not one of them cares one whit for the nation as it was, only what they can turn it into as they overthrow it.
Treason and Tyranny. Their encroachment into our freedoms and liberties are criminal and totally Unconstitutional. Stop them!

Back in 2005, Judicial Watch uncovered a Border Patrol survey, also exposed on Free Republic, conducted by the Bush administration in 2004 to determine what impact amnesty would have on illegal immigration. Want to take a guess at the outcome? Just the rumor of Bush's amnesty program led to a sharp spike in (additional) illegal immigration. Here are some of the particulars:
- 45% crossed illegally based on rumors of a Bush administration amnesty.
- 63% received Mexican government or media information supporting the notion of a Bush administration amnesty.
- 64% previously entered the United States illegally.
- 80% desired to apply for amnesty.
- 66% desired to petition for family members to join them in the U.S.
No wonder the Bush administration aborted the survey before its completion and ordered government officials not to talk about it: "Do not talk about amnesty, increase in apprehensions, or give comparisons of past immigration reform proposals," a White House memo stated.
It will be MUCH more than 14 million and the trickle will turn into a FLOOD once they hear the rumor of Amnesty THIS time, under Obama ...

The “major shift” in the immigration landscape is 1/6th of the population of the US (50 million illegals - 12 million my ass) is about to be added to Democrat voting books.

I and Theodore Roosevelt have some “issues”, but I do agree with his his famous “immigrant” speech. Seems more appropriate than ever...
“In the first place we should insist that if the immigrant who comes here in good faith becomes an American and assimilates himself to us, he shall be treated on an exact equality with everyone else, for it is an outrage to discriminate against any such man because of creed, or birthplace, or origin. But this is predicated upon the man’s becoming in very fact an American, and nothing but an American...There can be no divided allegiance here. Any man who says he is an American, but something else also, isn’t an American at all. We have room for but one flag, the American flag, and this excludes the red flag, which symbolizes all wars against liberty and civilization, just as much as it excludes any foreign flag of a nation to which we are hostile...We have room for but one language here, and that is the English language...and we have room for but one sole loyalty and that is a loyalty to the American people.”

I met Joe Wilson last Thursday at the Beautfort, SC Tea Party Express. Was stunned to discover he’s actually a very mild-mannered, soft spoken man. Nothing like the madman depicted by the MSM.

I disagree. A huge mandate against the socialist’s agenda will make things happen.
All depends if the new Pubbies can keep their balls.

Make no mistake about it - Amnesty was only placed on hold to help RAM ObamaCare through FIRST. Stop ObamaCare and the entire agenda falls apart.

Obama to Push Immigration Bill as One Priority http://www.nytimes.com/2009/04/09/us/politics/09immig.html By JULIA PRESTON
While acknowledging that the recession makes the political battle more difficult, President Obama plans to begin addressing the countrys immigration system this year, including looking for a path for illegal immigrants to become legal, a senior administration official said on Wednesday.
Mr. Obama will frame the new effort likely to rouse passions on all sides of the highly divisive issue as policy reform that controls immigration and makes it an orderly system, said the official, Cecilia Muñoz, deputy assistant to the president and director of intergovernmental affairs in the White House.
Mr. Obama plans to speak publicly about the issue in May, administration officials said, and over the summer he will convene working groups, including lawmakers from both parties and a range of immigration groups, to begin discussing possible legislation for as early as this fall.
Some White House officials said that immigration would not take precedence over the health care and energy proposals that Mr. Obama has identified as priorities. But the timetable is consistent with pledges Mr. Obama made to Hispanic groups in last years campaign. |
