In her new book, according to the Associated Press, Sarah Palin alleges that the McCain campaign gave her a $500,000 bill to pay for the campaign vetting her for the VP nod. She also makes the charge that the McCain camp said they would have paid all the bills had they won, but since they lost, the bills were her responsibility.

It wasn’t 500,000..it was one tenth of 500,000 which is 50,000 and that has already been proven fact. Again, these idiots in the media take exerts from a book and report it as fact. That is NOT what the book says, she specifically writes one tenth of 500,000..good Lord, again with the senior McCain people..hey McCain people, instead of hiding, why dont you come out and SHOW YOURSELVES instead of hiding with this anonymous BS. Your big boys and girls, you can come out of hiding, no one is gonna bite ya
Wow, that was a quick response!
Ummmm, I read it was $50,000.
Where’s the “Aww, geez ...” graphic?
McCain isn’t even a gentleman.
STOP THE PRESSES! Here’s the new state media template:
McCain - The good guy being wronged by this bitch of a wild woman.
Palin: She just can’t seem to get anything straight, and is clearly not smart enough to succeed in politics.
This one disagreement will have the media whores trying to completely drown out the rest of her book
She is going to make them pay, with a vengeance.
I can't wait for blood letting to begin in earnest.
Go Sarah!
Sounds to me like Juan McCain and his assorted group of backstabbers can’t get their story straight.
"That is one hundred percent untrue," said the McCain official, who would only speak on the condition of anonymity in deference to McCain. "All those bills are from her personal attorney Thomas Van Flein, mostly relating to the Troopergate investigation and other ethics investigations. It is not legal to pay for those investigations out of general election funds, even if the campaign was so inclined."
Anonymous McCain official? LOL. I bet McCain himself was the source of the quote!
Conservative and honorable Palin lies vs Back stabbing RINO McCain lies.
Boy oh boy, that’s a tough one.
Let’s not jump to conclusions: the report cites a “senior McCain campaign official”...not McCain.
I gotta believe most of the McCain idjits were Palin haters—but not Juan himself.
It clearly said 10% of the 500,000 dollars. Looks like C4P started a bad wrap.
But this dude stepped in it. Would I believe Sarah or a McCain ally?
Absolutely Sarah.
Thank you.
More and more it’s becoming obvious that McCain ran one of the most inept campaigns in recent memory.

or simply to swell its numbers."

over to the traitors in the battle just ended.
We will have no more of those candidates who are pledged
to the same goals as our opposition and who seek our support.
Turning the Party over to the so-called moderates
wouldnt make any sense at all.""

The Palmetto Scoop reported: "One of the first stories to hit the national airwaves was
the claim of a major internal strife between close McCain aides and the folks handling his running mate Sarah Palin."
"Im told by very good sources that this was indeed the case and that a rift had developed, but it was between Palins people and the staffers brought on from the failed presidential campaign of former Gov. Mitt Romney, not McCain aides."
"The sources said nearly 80 percent of Romneys former staff was absorbed by McCain and these individuals were responsible for what amounts to a premeditated, last-minute sabotage of Palin."
aides loyal to Romney inside the McCain campaign, said The Scoop, reportedly saw
that Palin would be a serious contender for the Republican nomination in 2012 or 2016, which made her a threat to another presidential quest by Romney.
Erick Erickson, who organized Operation Leper, said:
"These staffers are now out trying to finish her off
.hoping it would ingratiate themselves with Mitt Romney."

One... Hundred... BILLION DOLLARS!
Sarah Barracuda: The original website had it right, I followed the link and it was “about 10% of the $500,000. It looks like C4P picked it up wrong.
I do remember from last year some talk about Sarah wanting the campaign to help with some of the legal bills.
All that said, I trust Sarah more than any other pol until proven otherwise.
