Where i’m coming from is that i like so many other people have reached a peak, almost a breaking point, at how much more of this we can take.

And so lately little things set me off. I know i’m not alone. So many people i talk to say they’re on edge every day as well.

So i want to apologize for popping off at you. It’s better if we all try to be a little kinder to one another right now.

I didn’t know that Anthony could get in trouble for speaking out even if he’s a retired Marine. That could’ve been me doing what you say you did and just gut reacted.

As you know i’m mad as hell, and i can’t take much more of this. Every single day it’s one, two, three or more new things that happen in our country and i’m trying to find ways to reach people. And my first gut reaction was that Anthony, whom i’m sure has been properly vetted by Fox, might be the kind of person who could reach people in Harlem because he’s articulate and makes sense. It’s rare that blacks get solid advice from someone who isn’t wearing an Italian silk suit. He reminded me of a Joe the Plumber kind of guy. Just a guy on the street asking the right questions.

I understand, believe me I understand. Fox may have vetted him ...maybe not. I sincerely hope Anthony didn't make a mistake. Glenn would never, ever, mean to hurt him.

Things are very, very bonkers right now. You are correct that a little bit of civility between comrades would be good and a little bit of understanding too.

Our country is in deadly trouble and we're several generations behind in catching up with it. They've legislated themselves into a cacoon...and the metamorphosis is nearly complete that is why so much seems like it is coming at us nonstop.

What we cannot let America slip from us, as the song says:

And I am proud to be an American, where at least I know I am free. And I'll gladly stand up next to you and defend her still today.

I, you, me, them, those on this thread may not be enlisted, but it has been taken on by some of us, personally as a solemn duty to our troops, that when they come home...

It will still be the Land of the Free.
