It was a gut reaction to something on a printed computer screen that held/holds the potential of getting someone in our military into trouble if it goes “viral.” If that isn't something you don't comprehend/understand then talk to some folks in the military...especially Marines these days. Even my nephew who is technically a “former Marine” is very careful who he yacks off at! He is on potential recall status for the next several years.
And yeah...some of really don't care if you said, “please” to sending something viral that can damage someone in the military.
And PS. I do like your tag line.
Where i’m coming from is that i like so many other people have reached a peak, almost a breaking point, at how much more of this we can take.
And so lately little things set me off. I know i’m not alone. So many people i talk to say they’re on edge every day as well.
So i want to apologize for popping off at you. It’s better if we all try to be a little kinder to one another right now.
I didn’t know that Anthony could get in trouble for speaking out even if he’s a retired Marine. That could’ve been me doing what you say you did and just gut reacted.
As you know i’m mad as hell, and i can’t take much more of this. Every single day it’s one, two, three or more new things that happen in our country and i’m trying to find ways to reach people. And my first gut reaction was that Anthony, whom i’m sure has been properly vetted by Fox, might be the kind of person who could reach people in Harlem because he’s articulate and makes sense. It’s rare that blacks get solid advice from someone who isn’t wearing an Italian silk suit. He reminded me of a Joe the Plumber kind of guy. Just a guy on the street asking the right questions.
