For a moment I thought that ANY government employee down to the local postman was a target if he’s a Republican.
Although this is almost as bad...

As much as I approve of a Federal government small enough that one could replace the entire bureaucracy every four years without incident, I also know that the Civil Service Act specifically outlaws this tactic. Given the oath of office of the President, this constitutes a repudiation of that oath, a high crime or misdemeanor if there ever was one.
Given that it is a crime in progress, if they can find it in writing, Obama should be put under arrest.

Can someone tell me how you can “retroactively” fire someone? Does that mean their pay for the past five years must be repaid? Very confusing.

If you scratch deeper in that argument, you’ll find sighs that “the Soviets meant us no harm”, “We had missiles pointed at them too”.
Communist sympathizers are nothing new to this country. They’ve been here for the better part of a century. They will deny their loyalties to Communism and Mother Russia, though.
If they think that Communism is such a good system and that Castro and Chavez are maligned, why not move? And if these leaders aren’t instituting REAL Communism, why not work within these nations to bring about Reform/Orthadox Communism? Why change the American system? Because it poses an obstacle to global socialist takeover.

We tend to forget that a decent number of conservatives are actually federal employees or have been at some point. Sure, much less than libs overall, but sometimes, you find a job that works for you and supports your family and you take it!! Doesn’t make you a liberal stooge - sometimes you take a job that you need at a time you need it.
Of course a conservative is probably more likely to work at the NSA, or FBI, etc than the IRS or Social (In)security, but still...

How about an unspoken policy of small businesses and private business of not hiring Dims & Obama supporters.
To: Carry_Okie
Given that it is a crime in progress, if they can find it in writing, Obama should be put under arrest. Obama wouldn't leave. Remember how he treated the ousted Honduran presidente when the supreme court tossed his a%%?
He and his supporters would call it a "coup". Impeachment is no longer a legal process. The Socialists have spoken.

A crucial, key question is does this apply to former political appointees who are now seeking a career, competitive appointment or does it also apply to such former appointees who have already been selected and appointed to a competitive service position and now seek a promotion or other movement within the competitive service. If it is the former, it is an onerous expansion of the usual provisions invoked before a change of Administration, but it is probably legal. If it is the latter, it is a denial of benefits and status already granted and probably illegal. Need a Federal personnel law attorney to weigh in on this matter.

Like hell we won’t. The wimpy, pollyanna, gutless, invertebrate eunuchs called Republicans will cave in with the first media blitz of criticism.

“Just wait until we take everything back in 2012. We will not be charitable like we used to be.”
That there is funny.
#1 - The Obamanation will be 2 terms. The blacks, hispanics and the dead will turn out in large numbers in 2012.
#2 - Even if the Republicans took total control, where would you find Republicans with spines?! The Republicans will capitulate to the Democrats, they always do.
#3 - It won’t matter, 2012 is the end of the world.

I recall an article posted on FR that described this happening in New York City; something like 200 city workers were fired and replaced with minority hires.
Nuthin' to see here.

Actually, I don't think it's so much they are "pro-communist" as they are "anti-Western Culture".
From The Secret to the Suicidal Liberal Mind:
It is possible to perceive the passions of the Left as frenzies of masochism. What could be more idiotic and masochistic than to oppose missile defense? This opposition cannot be understood unless one dispenses with its rhetoric and rationales and realizes that these folks at their emotional core do not want their country defended. The lunacy of the "global warming" hoax cannot be comprehended other than that its masochistic advocates do not want their civilization to prosper. The culture-destroying immigration policies that Pat Buchanan warns are causing "The Death of the West" were put in place by those who do not want their culture to survive.
