Is anyone competent organizing the constitutional fight against this bill so I can contribute to their effort?

Can this be started now?

Hey, at least, while they're in prison, they'll have health care.

Dear Governor Perry,

On March 30, 2009 the Texas House of Representatives passed HCR 50 affirming that the State of Texas claims sovereignty under the Tenth Amendment.

You have publicly supported this bill, and stated that attorney generals from all over the union could be getting ready to sue the US Government.

We are asking you to take the lead.

We are asking you to order the Texas Attorney General to publicly begin working on a law suit under Article IV, Ninth, and Tenth Amendment of the Constitution.

We are asking you to protect the citizens of Texas that we will not stand for government controlled healthcare in our state.

Under your leadership we can effectively kill the proposal of this administration and allow Texas to be a state free from socialism and collectivism.

Be the voice of reason in the national debate and allow Texans the ability to solve the problems of our state.

Thank you,

Facts about the 10th Amendment:

The Tenth Amendment (Amendment X) of the United States Constitution, which is part of the Bill of Rights, was ratified on December 15, 1791. The Tenth Amendment restates the Constitution’s principle of Federalism by providing that powers not granted to the national government nor prohibited to the states are reserved to the states or the people.

HCR 50 HAS PASSED THE HOUSE 99-36!
Affirming that the State of Texas claims sovereignty under the Tenth Amendment to the Constitution of the United States over all powers not otherwise enumerated and granted to the federal government by the U.S. Constitution, serving notice to the federal government to cease and desist certain mandates, and providing that certain federal legislation be prohibited or repealed.

Take Action! Before it is too late!

REMEMBER THIS,TEXANS:

Feds Have Built Only 32 Miles of 700 Mile Double-Border Fence Originally Mandated by Congress

“One reason DHS has been able to do this is an amendment that Sen. Kay Bailey Hutchison (R.-Texas) slipped into an omnibus appropriations bill that Congress passed on December 18, 2007. Hutchison’s amendment put a loophole in the fence law that allowed the secretary of Homeland Security not to build the fence Congress had mandated the year before.”

[Did I miss anything?]

YES, the entire mark!

[3. ALL repeat ALL “pre-existing” conditions are covered...and with no increase in premiums and no waiting period.]
Exactly how do companies do this? They have to pay out more money for expensive procedures, but they are not allowed to charge more to get the money to pay? Is that how Capitalism works for you?

[5. Get the Federal Government out of health care/health insurance....period. ]
[8. Federal oversite (by a cabinet officer) of the medical insurance industry. If their rates don’t drop due to the decrease in the costs of medical care/administration, then the insurance company can be brought up on federal charges for fraud and corruption.]
How do you get the Feds out of health care and then have a cabinet level overseer? Just wondering how that works.
Also, so you believe the Fed, that should be out of health care/health insurance business, should set how much the Insurance companies are allowed to make? Again, how does that happen in Capitalism (you are describing Fascism)?

I am sure you mean well, and for the most part I agree with you, but you overstep when you want the Government to determine the amount of profit an insurance company is allowed to make. And, you want to force a company to offer services, for which you will NOT allow them to bill accordingly.

[[We have options. People need to get involved, and fast, in their states. The states have to start providing a bulwark against the tyranny of this national government or we are going to see some very dark times.]]

Yes, but wil lthe states do the right thing? Judge Nepolitano the other night broguht these issues up, but the fact is that the states for them ost part will not be willing to lose government handouts, and the government WILL strongarm those states that do not comply IF they smell the slightest weakness in resolve of hte states- This administration has proven several times now that they do NOT care what we the peopel want, and have goen so far as to tell us to shut up and ‘just let them fix’ the problems ‘we’ supposedly created, and this mentality by the admin tells me that if states try to oppose this government, that this government WILL use chicago thug tactics to force the states to comply

I hope I’m wrong, and I hope a great many states will band together to take hte necessary actiosn to resist the fascists in government, but I’ve seen time and time again that money talks, and the alarmign tactics this admin has gone to to undermine our rights and constitution just bode ill for us.

It’s goign to take a real revolution in order to fight this corrupt administration, and I just feel we’ve become too ‘comfortable’ to do what needs to be doen when the rubber hits the road. Hopefully i’m wrong-

Our only chance is for peopel like Judge Napolitano to organize the tea parties into a well oiled machine that gets the word out to the citizens that we DO have options IF we’re willing to sacrifice for our children (which we ARE goign to have to sacrifice- I’m just not sure peopel are willing to at this point- but perhaps woudl be once it starts sinking in how serious a threat to our liberty this admin has become)

People who want to stop this have to realize that they have to get involved in politics locally. You have to get involved in the selection and support of candidates to your state legislatures who will do the right thing. Maybe you have to get elected to some office.

You must do this, or you won’t have a chance to just sit back an let everything take care of itself and hope it works out for the best.

We can see the writing on the wall.

[[Is anyone competent organizing the constitutional fight against this bill so I can contribute to their effort?]]

That’s why I say Judge Napolitano (or othersl ike him) NEEDS to organize such a movement- He’s well versed i nthe law, knows the law inside and out, and can organize a competant movement that has legal RIGHTS which will inspire people to stand agaisnt tyranny. IF this happens, I think a great many peopel will think ‘hey, we do have a chance’ and be more iwlling to step up and take action and join. The tea parties are alright, but there NEEDS to be an organizing within the framework of the laws to make the efforts more effective. We need a brilliant mind who knows how to legally fight

I like the idea. Thanks.

And the template applies to a great many things. I’d love to see an organized effort to fight socialism in a legal effort to restore the constitution to limit the power of our new “rulers.”

[[People who want to stop this have to realize that they have to get involved in politics locally.]]

In states where the democrat party has it locked down- it’s impossible- we hte people do get hte word out as best we can, but unti lthe entire state wakes up fro mtheir self-induced coma, we can’t do anythign about it UNLESS there were a movement like hteo ne I described above led by someoen competant enough to to lead- someone inspiring enough to lead, and someoen who knows our righrts inside and out, and who can vigorate those who support them. The tea parties were a start, but unfortunately, their protests were simply falling on deaf ears of htose in congress- BUT, IF we the peopel were to begin legal proceediongs agaisnt the fascists in government, then they would have to listen, but we need someone hwo knows how to do this.

You listed several acts where states opposed government mandates, and thigns just kinda faded away when the government foudn out their mandates weren’t goign to be taken seriously, however, at no other time in history has the government been so determined to destroy our constitutional rights as they are right now, and they wil lresort to strongarming the citizens who do not comply- our only hope is to fight them legally, and we need a competant leader to organize us- someone who can inspire peopel to join and fight

Don't you dare worry about the reply...first or second.

I like bluntness...straight talk....truth. Would never expect any less from a Marine.

Perhaps this is what needs to happen between our Federal representatives...or maybe that's just wishful thinking on my part.

Yep...I made some errors...but I think they're small, and easily corrected.

Ideas??
