The -7 is an election number, but just like with the strongly approve/disapprove which low was -14 on 8/23, while the overall was at 48 - 51, it’s a bit hard to tell how much of the disapproval are leftists that think he’s not hard enough left.

That said, NJ and VA saw massive defections of older voters and indies/centrists...that bodes very well for 2010.

Someone (was it Rassie?) did a poll showing Obama would have lost 42 - 46 (would you vote for Pres. Obama did the poll go?) a week ago Tuesday.

All good trends - and we’re all gasping for survival...electoral rescue can’t come soon enough!

Go Tea Partiers! Let’s roll!

Classic over-reach. The admin miscalculated when they felt they had a mandate for change when in essence they had an American Idol contest voted on by an electorate that quickly sank back into the shadows after the race. He is quickly being overcome by events and risks dividing his own party like Dems said was happening to the GOP. Something tells me in a few months the DNC will wish the had problems similar to what the GOP has right now.

All in all, it looks like there is a large rebuke coming from the American electorate in 2010.
