I’m thinking they would not. There is no cause and effect with these people.
I think the 46% Approve to 53% DISAPPROVE is telling ... as more and more people wake up the 53% is going to climb.
for some reason, Gallup used registered voters in that poll but in their Obama approval and favorable polls they use adults.
Of course, even in the ballot question, the GOP does around 2 pts better on registered voters than adults.
I have to imagine that given Obama has been at 50 in Gallup’s approval poll around 8 or 9 different times, he’s been a few pts below 50 in approval among registered and certainly likely voters. I wonder why don’t use RV or LV in their approval questions?
I also think Gallup is massaging the data to keep him at 50 or higher. It’s almost impossible to believe he could fall to 50 on close to 10 separate days and never drop below 50 on any following day or days. Random chance would say he’d do it.
