Actually, he never says some. Im adding that to give him the benefit of the doubt. Raw Storys transcript of the exchange:
STEELE: Education and the economy. Education and jobs. Education and small business.
MARTIN: But your candidates got to talk to them. One of the criticisms Ive always had is Republicans white Republicans have been scared of black folks.
STEELE: Youre absolutely right. I mean Ive been in the room and theyve been scared of me. Im like, Im on your side and so I can imagine going out there and talking to someone like you, you know, [you're like,] Ill listen. And theyre like Well. Let me tell you. You saw in Christie and you saw in McDonnell a door open because they went in and engaged. McDonnell was very deliberate about spending

Because the rich Liberal White guys who currently run the GOP needed a token minority to put up opposed to the token minority the Rich Liberal White Guys in the Democrat Party put in the White House.
No Michael, conservatives are not scared of you. You've just made it too obvious that you are all too willing to compromise conservative principles.
Oh go self copulate Steele.
OK... is everyone done with this jacka** yet?
Leaving aside the annoying like stuff (I'm like/they're like), Steele is telling us that Christie and McDonnell won because they are white guys who aren't afraid of him? Sheesh.
Afraid? In what dream world is this clown living? What he senses is “White Folks” controlling their tongues.
>>> gaffe-prone
Nayh... “gaffe” implies that he said something that he didn’t mean to say.

Someone who no longer contributes to the GOP
New Majority II

This is one White Republican that is not afraid of you. I just think you are an incompetent boob Mr. Steele.
The phrase “some white folks” was Martin’s NOT Steele’s.
Just grow up and read slowly!
Y’all are scaring me.
It's probably akin to spending a couple of thousand dollars on a Vegas goodwill ambassador and later hearing she has some vile genital disease...
I haven’t sent a dime to the RNC in years. I likewise send money to individuals.
NNnooooooo....
Not another Bush-Romney-Huck-Rudy...
we need someone with at least a little charisma
Perception is reality.........................
Fear is for weak people, Mike. I used to think more highly of you, but you are becoming a bundle of contradictions.
Man up Mike.
Not scared, tired of you and the other “elite” of the party and your RINO attitudes.
I wonder if he voted for Obama?
Michael Steele; another good reason for a third party!
