Humans are not descended from monkeys or apes. It’s a common smear that’s levelled against evolution, however.
It was a cute joke.
As a rule, the atheists among us believe in the descended from monkeys as a release from feeling guilt for things they may have done, harmful things done to others, and they desperately want to abdicate any responsibility and deny the judge.
Still, the joke was really cute.
Sometimes it’s so easy to get sucked into this most useless of useless discussions.
If you believe there is a God or “Higher Being” then you believe he/she somehow created all of this.
If you don’t believe their is a God, then you must believe that all mass and the life combination of materials contained there in came from some infinitely tiny particle containing an infinite amount of mass that went bang.
Either way it takes faith to understand where we came from.
