Dennis Moore didn’t even have anyone answering his phone at the end of the week.
Everyone around here gets the impression that he doesn’t plan on being in congress after ‘10.

Joe Donnelly (IN-2) is feeling pretty cocky. Normally a closely contested district, it was made safer for Dems after the 2000 census cost Indiana a seat. Formerly held by Dem Tim Roemer (9-11 Commission “fame”) and Republican Chris Chocola (now President of Club for Growth), Donnelly won the seat in 2006 with 54% of the vote. The Obama election swamped his competition in 2008 (Luke Puckett- solid candidate, but under funded), winning re-election with 67% of the vote. I wouldn’t rule out his defeat in 2010, though. Also, either Hill or Ellsworth further south might be vulnerable....

Any of these crooks who are defeated next year won’t necessarily have to leave Washington. Some will become lobbyists (bag men) while others will get jobs in the Obama administration.
I have already notified my local Representative that he sold us out by voting for the health care bill, and that I am going to actively and aggressively campaign against him. Some of us NEVER forget.
Ellsworth had made it crystal clear where he stands. There is no blue on that dog.
He can’t continue to masquerade as a conservative anything.
I just had an image of Pelosi walking a dog on a leash and it was a poodle that was died a bright blue color.
Cuellar (TX) is an apologists for La Raza and is as liberal as they come. Not a blue-dog.
Scott Tipton (currently the Republican state rep for District 58) is considering running against Salazar. Nothing definite yet; but he's sounding more serious and is holding another meet-and-greet this Thursday in Mesa County.
I think twice as many will vote for the final bill, “we tried. we put up a good fight”
Every single Democrat member of the House of Representatives needs to be taken out of office in 2010.
The puke Republican who replaced ‘cold cash’ Jefferson needs to see his old job back, and also be voted out of office.
He isn’t one bit better than Jefferson.
If there was an award for politicians who are totally inept, Lousiana would win, hands down. Yes, NAGIN, I am talking about you, also.
Sorry, make that this Wednesday. For those in the area, here is the announcement:
Subject: Scott Tipton visit to Fruita
Hello to all,
On Wednesday November 11th @ 5pm Scott Tipton, R-Colorado House of Representatives District 58, will be coming to Fruita to discuss his potential challenge to Ken "the blue-dog" Salazar. We all know that this dog has got to go and I believe Scott is the man to put Salazar back in the pound and out of our Congressional District. Scott has done an exceptional job representing District 58 (just south of us, 1/2 of Delta Co, Montrose, Cortez, etc).
Please join Kryss and me in welcoming Scott to Fruita. The "meet & greet" will be at El Tapatio, Family Mexican Restaurant, 402 Jurassic Avenue, Fruita, CO 81521 (970-858-1011). Scott will give a short presentation and be available for questions and answers. Scott will bring back common sense, fiscal responsibility, representative accountability, and true western ideals and values back to CD-3. Please attend and help encourage Scott to be our man in Washington, DC.
He's one district over from me; but I've spoken with him (a few days ago here in Grand Junction) and gotten some help from his office a few months ago on some other legislative matters. He seems pretty solid and all the Republicans I know here in Mesa County are hoping he'll announce. West Slope Republicans are generally "real" Republicans--not like a lot of the RINOs on the Denver side.
I believe he ran against Salazar once before but ran out of money and was unable to counter false, last-minute attack ads from the opposition.
