Maj. Nidal Malik Hasan is awake and talking, a Brooke Army Medical Center spokesman said Sunday.
Dewey Mitchell, public affairs chief at the hospital, said he did not know if the accused gunman in Thursday mass shooting at Fort Hood is talking to investigators.
I am not sure how much he is talking, Dewey Mitchell said. There is some communication going on. I just got that indication from people on our nursing staff.
Hasan, wounded four times in a shootout with post police, is in critical but stable condition, Mitchell said.

If he had used the term "nigger" I suspect it would be in his record and he would have been demoted. Or forced out if it had happened more than a few times. But apparently the officers were ambiguous about his wanting to "cut throats"... etc.
So, no I don't know what side they'll be on. A few years ago I would have bet their loyalty would be to the men and women who were gunned down. Now - I don't know. What's your best guess?
That's mighty fine of Texas - I like that ramp thingie - - they do come through in a pinch...
Some man posted a thread today about ‘things every REAL man should know’, and one was ‘where a strip joint is’.
Whatta guy!!
You have to figure that out of 13 murdered victims, at least one of them will have a relative who will attempt to get justice quickly. This p.o.s. Muslim must be under quite a hefty guard right now.
.
6-7 hours he was there one night - lap dances at $50 a pop
His Iman could not find him a 5-prayer-a-day burka-babe
Always wrote he was Palestian - not American
This guy is a bigtime loserama
What was Hussy Junior waiting for?
Waiting until Afghanistan was forgotten?
Burka babes huh? Lol
[What was Hussy Junior waiting for?
Waiting until Afghanistan was forgotten?]
I missed your train of thought as to Obama and Husan. Sorry.

Stalling on press info
Obama still says “Do not jump to conclusions!”
No rush
Except for TARP, Stimulus, Obamacare, Cap & Trade, $2,000,000+ dates in NYC, golf, etc.
I think you’re getting it confused with
“Second hand PTSD”. The Sturgeon general
had determined that it’s caused by clove smoke,
peanuts and exposure to the Koran.
I think the Sheeple already made that mistake last November.
Don't fear. There's a very reasonable - even likely - chance that Obama will be long out of office by the time this gets to the Presidents desk.
The only thing to worry about is the last time a military execution request came before a Democrat President - JFK in '61 - it was denied. Not a good track record there.
I hope you are right.
On the other hand, these killings did take place on Texas soil. Maybe the state should prosecute?
While not technically impossible, I have a better chance of being crowned King of England. It's a military shooter, with military victims on a federal reservation. The Feds could assert jurisdiction if they find evidence of a broader conspiracy, but for Texas to get a crack, both the military and the feds would have to pass. That's not going to happen.
Occasionally, you will see state authorities prosecute crimes committed on federal reservations. Most frequently, these crimes are domestic in nature ie, a civilian spouse hits her military husband over the head with the frying pan. Since she's not in the in the military, and there's no federal statute against braining someone with the Calphalon, the the feds let the staties prosecute. That's not going to happen here.
He’s awake? Fine, then kill him before he blacks out again.
Oh, you bet he will have half the ACLU and the Izzzlumic geehoddist murdering thug lawyers group out there for FREE. He will have more attorneys than Carters has those little green pills.
