The U.S. Army's top general expressed concern on Sunday that last week's mass shooting at Fort Hood in Texas, blamed on a Muslim Army officer, could fuel a backlash in the military against Muslim troops.
General George Casey, U.S. Army chief of staff, cautioned against jumping to conclusions about whether religious beliefs motivated the accused gunman, Major Nidal Malik Hasan, a Muslim born in the United States of immigrant parents.

"I'm concerned that this increased speculation could cause a backlash against some of our Muslim soldiers. And I've asked our Army leaders to be on the lookout for that," Casey told CNN's "State of the Union."
There are about 3,000 Muslims on active duty military service or in the National Guard or reserve forces, Casey said. They remain a small minority within the U.S. military.
A Fort Hood official has said Hasan yelled "Allahu Akbar" -- Arabic for "God is Greatest" -- just before the shooting in which 13 people were killed and 30 wounded. The 39-year-old U.S. Army psychiatrist was shot four times by police. He was hospitalized but no longer needed a ventilator to breathe.

Those among us who are a danger to society need to be removed. We do that to Japanese Americans during the Second World War. We do it to Murderers and other who commit crimes against society. We even do it to people who water their yards on the wrong day. So, what is the solution for the Muslims?
The only enemy that will come out of this slaughter is a condemnation of conservatives who are seen as "too hard" on Muslims...
When Moslems take the oath to defend the US - they go against their beliefs...because Islam does not allow one to be loyal to a nation - only the so called messenger.
Therefore, since they do take it - it means nothing to them - it’s a lie - no more no less.
Should they be banned from serving?...should we forget about the other Moslem soldier who rolled a hand grenade into a tent of officers in Kuwait right before the launch of Iraqi Freedom in 2003?
I'd say General Discharge from the military and immediate deportation of any Muslim in this country not natively born here. For those, I'd put under surveillance round the clock.
BUT, we all know this is the farthest thing from the minds of the caring, feeling liberal bleeding hearts who now control this country. I'd say they're much much farther down on the list, far behind conservatives and Christians if you as me.
So he'll be addressing all muslim U.S. soldiers and giving them the following message: "You are hereby ordeed to refrain from shooting your fellow U.S. soldiers. If you do not follow this order, their may occur a backlash, and that backlash may be targeted at yourselves."
Who remembers NYC mayor David N. Dinkins, the Crown Heights riots, and "let the crowd vent their rage."

What!?! I think we should fear a muslim backlash on ordinary citizens. When will we address those concerns?
Maybe the Army should have been worried about the dangers imposed by Islamist soldiers on Non-Muslim troops.
Can the army be sued for negligence and wrongful death?
If they knew what this guy was about and they didn’t do anything that would be the height of irresponsibility. It would be comparable to have a known child predator teaching kindergarten!
How many Muzzies have been harmed in any backlash? In the same period, how many Americans have been harmed by Muslims? Casey needs to go.
I’m more concerned about the lives of the service men and women.
The general’s time would be better spent reviewing the “doctor’s” the patients. He was in the perfect position to find disgruntled Muslim soldiers, and potential converts and push them towards radical Islam. Security should be checking to see if any began attending radical mosques, browsing Islamic message boards, etc. after being “treated”.
I have yet to hear anyone in the media, even talk radio make this point.
The Army Chief really needs to come out and stand with his troops and demand the discharge of all practicing Muslims.
We do not need practicing Muslims in our ranks, the same as we don’t allow gays to be in the military. Just say thanks but no thanks. (this way the left gets what they want, we treat sexuality the same as religion)
I am really glad I am no longer in the military because I could not handle this crap from my superiors.
It was not "blamed" on a Muslim, it was committed by a Muslim. Any backlash will be against Muslims voicing anti-American sentiments. Why? Because we are at war. This all has gotten beyond the sublime to the ridiculous.

As well he should.
I have almost zero likelihood of serving in future combat or any other compulsory military service, but --- if I did, I would refuse to serve with or near any muslim in any capacity.
And I would advise any son, daughter, relative or friend to do the same.
They better start building more stockades.
Come to think of it, they better start building more civilian jails, too. No number of laws of any sort can force me to "like" or even tolerate any identifiable group who has either regularly vowed to kill me and my loved ones, to change my culture or to indoctrinate my children.
But that's just me.
