So What Do We Do Now?
Vanity | November 8, 2009 | Wpin

Posted on 11/08/2009 6:26:47 AM PST by Wpin

This morning I awoke to the news that the democrats have succeeded in passing their "health" bill. One lone Republican voted for it, thirty-eight democrats voted against it. In spite of the people's wishes this government has moved us another step into socialistic fascism. Just as Hitler did in his tenure as leader of Germany.

So, I am wondering today...what do we do now? It is obvious that protesting as we have with our Tea Parties have had no affect. Tyrants always have reason for tyranny and they will not be stopped by the American people protesting politely, even when there are hundreds of thousands of us at one place.

As most of us here I am very disheartened, indeed saddened deeply by what I view as what may be another nail in the coffin of freedom and decency. Are these the end times? Are we to suffer terribly for our nation ignoring God? I have so many questions which I do not have the answer to. All I know from my life is to do the right thing, to stand up for liberty and decency. To strive to prevail over what I view as this evil. But, how to do that? Do we continue to do our Tea Parties? Do we work on seperating from this nation and building our own? Would the democrats even allow that? Maybe someone can offer some clarity, some sound thinking on what the hell we do now. I would appreciate it greatly.

They are paid off to not look for reveal the truth about certain delicate topics.
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

Nearly every conservative yapper and pundit has been paid off? Sorry, but how could a conspiracy that large be sustained? Surely, someone would have told the truth about the bribes and/or threats.

I am baffled.

Red used to be considered a power color in business, like the one in the red tie showed more power. Women in red stand out in a crowd, so they have the power of drawing attention to themselves, like a red sportscar in traffic. In nancy’s case, it is her affection to marxism and communism that draws her to it. Somewhere on FR.com a couple of days ago posted that Saturday was the anniversary of the Bolshvek revolution, so go figure.

Secession in any format will hasten the destruction of the Constitution and is exactly what the Nazis in power want; division of the opposition.

Instead of trying to defend and reestablish the Constitution you go with the moron democrat plan of 1860; they lost then, you’ll lose this time as well. So go ahead, throw out the Constitution and the union without fighting to uphold it. A coward’s way out.

Watching Pelosi gloat was worse than hearing the news of the passage of the bill. Jeez, I hate that woman.

I think the Tea Parties helped keep this from going through months ago. Unfortunately, through entitlement programs, we have paid the stupid lazy people to breed for so long they now out number us. They will, at every chance, vote for people who promise them free stuff. This is why our Founders gave us a Republican government (not a Democracy) and no income tax. Those who have voted for this, and all other socialist programs, have violated Article four, Section four of the Constitution. Everyone of them broke their oath of office and I will be calling them Monday to tell them so. I've tried today, but their voice mail boxes are full. That maybe an indication that some folks have beat me to it.

I don't want to see this country broken up, but that may be what is coming. I'm sick of the Democrats telling our side not to become violent. That's like a wife beater telling his wife she should not raise her hand to defend herself. How much should one take? One need only read the Declaration Of Independence to know that our Founders would believe we've taken too much from our government. It has, for far to long, been "destructive of" our "Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness"

I think we’re well beyond phone calls, e-mails and faxes now. Congresscritters are clearly ignoring the electorate.

Every Senator has a local office in their home state. and if this doesn’t work thier home.
What did the ptriots do? They protested in front of thier homes! They may never show at their office but they have to come home sometime!

2010 is way too late . Cap and Trade and Immigration will be passed by then . We need to organize strikes and boycotts. Civil unrest is called for . The government is now totally on their own and out of control. Ideas welcomed. Let get all the separate groups out there together under one banner. FR needs to take the lead here

"We have four boxes used to guarantee our liberty: The soap box, the ballot box, the jury box and the cartridge box." - Ambrose Bierce (1887)

soap box - The US mass media is clearly in the enemy's camp.

ballot box - We can only vote for those our masters present to us as candidates.

jury box - "No standing."

The way I see it they're not leaving us many choices.

This is not tied to a sales tax so not buying will do nothing.

It's not about the sales tax. It's about sending a message - kind of an SOS - that all is NOT well. Americans are not going on about their lives like they did before, they are counting on us to do that so they can point to any promising indicators in the economy & say, "See, what we're doing is helping."

Of course they will print more money & that will work up to a point, and then it all will start to crash to the ground (like the Soviet Union). Things are going to get real ugly and our lives are not going to go back to being normal for quite some time. I accept this & I'm going to throw out all the dead weight I can in my life, so that I can keep afloat until we can turn things around. I will NOT live my life like I have before, I will not give them the advantage of saying that America is getting back to normal.

In the meantime, we need to keep up the pressure - we all need to think about running for local offices & taking over the system from the ground up. The Tea Parties were great, they saw our numbers & they are having to deal with that - but they are doing what they are intent on doing anyway, so we have to start using some other tactics now to "get their attention". The economy is something that we all "feel", the sheeple will clamor for them to fix things & they won't be able to - come election time, they will take it out on the incumbents. America must be forced to feel our pain, by feeling it themselves. Tough love.

"Just as Hitler did in his tenure as leader of Germany."

Key words, and it's true - Obama is following in Hitler's footsteps. Well, partially. He also resembles Mao, Mussolini, and Chavez. And therest of the dems are following right along.

Keep fighting on the soap box.

Keep fighting at the ballot box.

Keep filling the ammo box.

Keep emptying their cash box. Time to drag the system down. Starve it.

I've said this before and I'll repeat it:

Nationwide Strike!

The time for tea parties is over. Imagine the impact and the lost revenue to the government if several million people took a few days off work all the same time. Shut everything down. Don't make purchases. Unfortunately, I already know what most people will say: " But things are already tough. I can't afford to lose more money." " But I might lose my job" blah, blah.

Well my answer is: sacrifice a little now or a lot later including your freedoms.

Remember, the Founders pledged their lives, their fortunes and their sacred honor for us.

Nationwide Strike!

Sadly, a lot of trolls inhabit these forums & blogs - a lot of our planning needs to take place in private email, away from spying eyes. We need to go underground.

Agreed. 1st wqe need an excellent writer here on FR to draft a letter we can all send to our “representatives “telling them in no uncertain terms that they are toast . Next we need to organize ALL anti Obama groups into ONE MASSIVE MOVEMENT. IDEAS?
We need leadership , money and aggressive action. Tea Parties and Town Hall meetings meant NOTHING so the next step of civil unrest is needed. Please folks ,,lets get off our asses and do this .

I am despondent as well. I truly believe this fundamentally changes the relationship between the government and the citizen. If this monstrosity becomes law we will need to face the fact that the Republic is dead. Part of my pessimism stems from the fact that I don't believe the Republicans have the onions to vote to cancel this law even if they do get a majority in 2010. And, if they only get the House do you think they will use the power of the purse to stop funding this beast? Nope.

"Consent of the governed" has only worked as long as we truly believe the Constitution is not just a piece of paper, but rather a compact between a free people willing to live within the self-restrainted boundaries. Once we break this wall as the governing class is about to do, then NO ONE is bound by such restraint. This is what I mean by the Republic being dead. We are only left with the Will to Power. It won't be pretty.
