Different reports are coming in about what some of the Arkansas Representatives will do. John Boozeman is a solid NO vote. Rep Berry has "concerns regarding how the plan is paid for", but Obamacare is often changed to give the apperance of not costing as much. Mike Ross has expressed concern over public option, but that is also not a definite NO. According to David Meeks, Rep Snyder's office had said that he wouldn't for a bill that "funds abortion", however Obamacare supporters had claimed that the bill would not fund abortions while blocking amendments that would clearly state no funds for abortions. When I called Snyder's office, I was told that Snyder is waiting for revisions of the bill. The staff worker named Betty claimed that it was a good thing the bill was being constantly revised. I reminder her that the bill was already almost 2,000 pages and that none of the Reps had read the bill. I left a message urging Snyder to oppose any of the Obamacare bills and support HR2520, The Patient's Choice Act of 2009. The bottom line is keep calling the Representatives.
Rep. Marion Berry - 202-225-4076 Rep. Vic Pelosi Snyder - 202-225-2506 Rep. Mike Ross - 202-225-3772 Rep. John Boozman - 202-225-4301 (to thank him for his opposition)
Arkansas Ping!
His office told me he was a NO - I didn’t think they said “leaning” no.
were there any stipulations in the NO, such as language that supports abortion or if the Stupak Amendment were added. That is what liberal Vic Snyder is saying. Snyder will probably vote on it even if Stupak fails.

It appears that Ross voted “NO”, but My freak-show Rep - Snyder - voted a proud “YES”. I know for a fact that his office phones, both in Little Rock and DC, have been inundated with loud opposition (was part of it). But he is about as liberal as any in DC and votes along party lines 99.9% of the time.
Traitors.
