To this day I remain baffled and somewhat dumbstruck by the complacency of the public, the mainstream media, Congress and the U.S. Supreme Court for their willingness to dismiss challenges to President Barack Obama's (aka Barry Soetoro) natural born U.S. citizen status.
Yes, the election is over, and yes, I acknowledge that nothing likely will ever come of this, but it astounds me that we are in month nine of Obama, yet his eligibility to serve as president remains unresolved.
The majority of challenges to Obama's natural-born status revolve around the fact he has refused to release his original, long-form, vaulted birth certificate.
The only document he has made available is a Hawaiian Certification of Live Birth. This abbreviated form does not indicate the hospital where Obama was born, nor does it include the name of the attending physician or midwife. There is no official signature of any kind verifying its accuracy.
The form also has a revision date of November 2001 and is computer generated, which clearly demonstrates that it is not the original document of his birth.
In addition, there is the oft-overlooked deposition from his paternal African grandmother who stated that she was present at his birth in (what is now) Kenya.

In an Auburn University classroom, they were discussing the qualifications to be President of the United States. It was pretty simple — the candidate must be a natural born citizen of at least 35 years of age.
However, one girl in the class immediately started in on how unfair was the requirement to be a natural born citizen. In short, her opinion was that this requirement prevented many capable individuals from becoming president.
The class was taking it in and letting her rant, but everyone’s jaw hit the floor when she wrapped up her argument by stating, ‘What makes a natural born citizen any more qualified to lead this country than one born by C-section?’
Yep, these are the same 18 year olds that just elected the new President of the United States!!?

It's not complacency so much as picking your battles. If those concerned about this are saying things like: "yes, I acknowledge that nothing likely will ever come of this" then why should limited resources resources be tapped off pursuing this when American citizens in the Congress are in the process of legislating away our rights daily?

Nothing can be done about it at this point and more than half of America could care less about the Constitution of the U.S. and still hope the communist/islamic president will help them as he and the congress destroy all of America. Rush and many other right wing conservatives tell the truth but americans just bumbles and follows the fools along.

the Certificate of Live Birth first appeared (IIRC) on the Daily Kos. it was not attributed to any source. 0 never took possession of it. he never acknowledged it specifically...and said yes i have released this “certificate of live birth.”

I’m not surprised. Listen to some of the callers to talk radio shows who recount their experiences calling their representatives in Congress. A number of them have heard the line from the office staff, “I don’t care about the Constitution.” We have a legislature full of people who did not take their oath of office seriously. Our country is paying the price.

I really don’t understand how degrees have any credit anymore, when it comes to a MIDDLE CLASS JOB.
With the exception of certain high paying fields,there are a lot of degrees THAT ARE COMPLETELY USELESS AND A RIPOFF TO THOSE WHO PURCHASED IT.
