KILLEEN, Texas (AP) - An apartment complex manager says the man accused of opening fire at Fort Hood, Texas recently had a religious bumper sticker torn off his car.

The manager, John Thompson, says a fellow soldier allegedly keyed Maj. Nidal Malik Hasan's car and ripped up the bumper sticker. Thompson says the soldier had been to Iraq and was upset to learn Hasan was Muslim.

Thompson, who manages the Killeen, Texas complex where Hasan lives, says the bumper sticker read: "Allah is Love." In Arabic, Allah means God.

Interesting. I just tried a little experiment.

I googled for “Allah is love.”

I got a number of articles by Muslims saying how much Allah loves them. BUT, not one SINGLE use of the phrase “Allah is love.” Not one. This is not the way Muslims think about their Allah.

Then try googling the phrase “God is love.” You will find endless uses of that phrase, because it is a basic tenet of Judaism and Christianity.

I get it, the message the press is trying to send is this was a hate crime against the shooter. Not a hate crime of the shooter against the dead and dieing.

As soon as he had a degreed title in his history, Wolf Blitzer started referring to him as Dr. Hasan, instead of the two bit traitor that he was to this nation.

Even today, AP radio news is calling Hasan a “suspect”.

He said that Major Hasan said he was "happy" when a US soldier was killed in an attack on a military recruitment centre in Arkansas in June. An American convert to Islam was accused of the shootings.

Col Lee alleged that other officers had told him that Maj Hasan had said "maybe people should strap bombs on themselves and go to Time Square" in New York.
