My company is run by lawyers and I think that’s why the no gun policy. Guess they figure there’s more chance of a couple guys getting in a fight and shooting each other than a disgruntled employee coming in.

We have an entry card system. When someone is terminated, first thing I do is disable their card but they can break the front glass to gain access.

I also overheard my boss talking to the corporate lawyers - one of our guys is a rent-a-cop and he was asking for special permission to keep his gun in his vehicle. I hope it was granted. Doesn’t matter, like I said, other guys do carry anyway - I used to but started getting nervous if they found it.

I don’t blame you.

However, I think I would try and hide a cheap gun somewhere in or around the building, just a thought.

Have a great day!
