FORT HOOD, Texas – Soldiers who witnessed the shooting rampage at Fort Hood that left 13 people dead reported that the gunman shouted "Allahu Akbar!" before opening fire, the base commander said Friday.

I’ve been saying this since 9/11/2009.. Mosques where these guys pray should be wrapped in razor wire and turned into prisons. The remaining mosques should be forced to pick between co-existing in the US with Jewish and Christian Americans or being plowed under and herded onto ships and sent to a place where they can live w/o killing Americans.

Muslim = Disqualified, in my opinion, for anything intelligence or defense related without a polygraph once a year or similar.

Islam is both a religion and a political ideology.

Islam is like communism. Both are our mortal enemies. While it is a constitutional right to believe in Islam or communism, these beliefs should be heaped with scorn, ridicule and opprobrium at all times, by the people, in the marketplace of ideas. Room must not be made for evil, which is the fruit of government education.

If it is not done with words, eventually it will have to be done with other means, lest liberty perish.

Thats the question i have wanted answered for years now. Being a virgin is cool but dang i don’t think I’d want to kill anyone for one. Maybe they want bragging rights?! Can you imagine what that would look like..

It will continue to be spun as a conscientious objector soldier who snapped due to imminent deployment. We must be careful not to jump to conclusions due to the soldier's faith, which had nothing to do with his mental state. Etc.

One particularly insightful remark from a Ft Hood soldier on being attacked: "I was confused and just shocked," said Spc. Jerry Richard, 27, who works at the center but was not on duty during the shooting. "Overseas you are ready for it. But here you can't even defend yourself."

But of course AP added the obligatory "Authorities are investigating whether Hasan's weapons were properly registered with the military." Well that is the focus of the investigation, isn't it? Whether his handguns were properly registered?

Certainly we must not investigate why someone would shout "Allahu akbar!" while committing mass murder.

It was pathetic watching CNN and MSNBC initially spin this as “another disgruntled soldier with PTSD” case when it is “another murderous insane Islamist” case.

I agree. I’m wondering how long it will be before the MSM stops their pathetic charade of sympathy for our brave soldiers & families and turns this into “this wouldn’t have happened if the big, bad army didn’t make fun of poor little Muslims.”
