The Great Al-Qaeda “Patriot”

Dar al-Hijrah Islamic Center, which tax records show has received large donations from the Islamic Relief Organization, is a Muslim Brotherhood bastion. Another former imam and current prayer leader, for example, is an admitted Brotherhood member from the Sudan. The mosque’s deed was signed by an Alamoudi crony who has admitted participating in the Brotherhood’s “Ikhwan” movement in America.

Dar al-Hijrah is a turnstile for terrorists and terror suspects. A prayer leader, Sheikh Mohammed al-Hanooti, was named as an unindicted co-conspirator in the first World Trade Center bombing. Other dubious mosque members have included: Alamoudi, Abdullah bin Laden, Osama’s nephew; Hamas leader and fugitive Mousa Abu Marzook and his partners Ismail Elbarasse and Abdelhaleem Ashqar, who was convicted of obstruction of justice in February; convicted Virginia Jihad Network leader Randall “Ismail” Royer, a former CAIR official; and Ahmed Omar Abu Ali, an al-Qaida operative recently convicted of plotting to assassinate President Bush.

Leaders of the mosque rallied around Ali, calling the trial a Zionist “witch hunt,” even after it became obvious he was guilty.

What’s more, the phone number to the mosque was found in the German apartment of Ramzi bin al-Shibh, roommate of 9/11 ringleader Mohamed Atta. Atta’s deputy “emir” in the “raid” on America, Nawaf al-Hazmi, worshipped at Dar al-Hijrah, along with the pilot who crashed the plane into the Pentagon.

Back to mosque leader Esam Omeish, the “American patriot.” Court records I’ve obtained show he put his home up for bond collateral in 2004 to help spring from jail a terrorist suspect who was caught allegedly casing the Chesapeake bridge for attack. His dubious pal Ismail Elbarasse is a founding member of Dar al-Hijrah.

Is this Administration's “Don't Ask-Don’t Tell” policy for the United States Military.

I always thought it was about the gays, not Muslim extremist directly infiltrating those that are trained to defend our Freedom.

Wonder how much information this guy had access to for reporting back to his “Homies”.

Already the Jihads are calling him a “Hero”!

He could easily have taken out a Congressperson or Senator there.

I don't buy it. These days Congress is mostly friendly to these guys. Why do that?

No wonder you are a Gubmint Shrink.

“According to Fox he did not want to deploy to Afganistan and was working with lawyers so he would not have to go.”

Sounds like a client of that Russian born lawyer, Orly Taitz.

I wouldn’t read too much into that, by itself, given that it was pre-9/11. There are a lot of sane, stable Muslims who harbor no more extremism than your average Methodist. Before 9/11, if they weren’t very active in their mosque, they probably wouldn’t have scrutinized a new imam very closely, and he’d only been there less than 5 months before Hasan’s mother’s funeral. For all we know, the family only had a loose connection to the mosque, like Catholics who only show up at their local parish for Easter, Christmas, weddings, baptisms, and funerals.

BUT, our military should be scrutinizing things like this, and checking whether there have been continuing contacts between someone either seeking to enter, or already in our armed services, and Muslim religious or “philanthropic” figures with ties to terrorism tht they’ve been known to have at least casual contacts with in the past. As I previously pointed out, our military had a LONG time to watch this guy. I’m very nearly as unhappy with the failed watchers, as I am with Hasan. But still think it’s possible he “turned” in relatively recent history, due to the stresses of a residency and fellowship at WR (read, major sleep deprivation, as is standard in our government-mandated medical “education” system) and a steady stream of patients who’d had chunks of their brains blown out or severe psychological trauma even without major physical injury,

Sleep deprivation is a standard element in brainwashing programs, and is known (with or without an accompanying brainwashing program) to produce psychological problems. The standard sleep deprivation requirement of the residency program, may well have combined with the efforts of outside forces, to make him an easy brainwashing target. After all, brainwashing is a big part of what medical residency programs are all about — don’t give the residents time or energy to get enough sleep and actually *think* about how they’re being forced to spend endless hours providing treatment to a collection of patients which includes huge numbers of non-paying self-destructive deadbeats, while being paid like McDonald’s shift managers, while politicians use the difference between the residents’ real market worth, and what the non-paying patients are paying, to buy votes for themselves. After 4 years of this, the vast majority of fully credentialled physicians in this country just accept that this is how things are.

Cut me a break. The men at Ft. Hood were my brothers.
I don't want to hear your useless excuses for this OBVIOUS
sleeper terrorist.
Good day.

here is an easy question to ask a muslim who wants to be a commissioned officer in the military:

“If you are asked to deploy and possibly kill someone of a muslim faith that is threatening our troops, could you do it?”

Might help weed them out during the interview process. Then again, they wouldn’t get their medical school paid for.

Re: obituaries of this jerk’s parentsL

Everything in those obit’s indicates his parents were muslims.

So why is it the news clowns keep describing him as a “convert to Islam” (when they dare mention Islam at all)?

Where did the info about the civilians come from? Has this been confirmed?

I first read that Hassan was a Muslim convert from Virginia, but obviously he’s a life-long Muslim from a Muslim immigrant background.

He seems to have gone to a radical mosque, however (actually, I think that describes most mosques). Were these other people from his mosque?

Some of Hasan’s ramblings:

1. Shaves off body hair.
2. Three men make terrorist cell.
3. Everyone goes to a church that has links to 9/11 murderers.
4. Must cover up truth for dear leader.

5. Which base is next?

No he didn’t the timing is wrong unless he was enlisted. His BS from Tech was in 1997 and he should have graduated from High School in 1988 if he is 39. My question is what he was doing before he went to VT? ROTC there for a BS is only 4 years with major penalties for failing classes.

The funny thing is he could have joined Orly’s Birther lawsuit asking for a birth certificate and he would not have to go!

Does the timing of medical school seem off to you. 4 years of Med School, 1 year as an Intern, 2 years as a resident, and 1 year as a Fellow equals 8 years. He should have been finished in 2005? Maybe, he had to go to Army schools, but I didn’t see anything like that. What has this guy been doing? His career path doesn’t seem right, he has gaps in timing that should not be there.

Really, I have never heard of anything like that and I work in Blacksburg. My thoughts was something from high school, several of the victims and the shooter went to Centreville High in NOVA.
