Military officials say the suspected shooter at Fort Hood was a psychiatrist at Walter Reed Army Medical Center for six years before being transferred to the Texas base in July. The officials had access to Maj. Nidal Malik Hasan's military record. They said he received a poor performance evaluation while at Walter Reed.
The officials spoke on condition of anonymity because military records are confidential.
The Virginia-born soldier was single with no children. He was 39 years old.
He is a graduate of Virginia Tech University, where he was a member of the ROTC and earned a bachelor's degree in biochemistry in 1997. He received his medical degree from the military's Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences in Bethesda, Md., in 2001. At Walter Reed, he did his internship, residency and a fellowship.

How many military docs do you know who are so proficient with a sidearm? I know a few, and they practice shooting enough to get through the marksmanship exams.

That’s the strange part of all of this. Was he being shipped out to Afghanistan or Iraq as normally medical doctors don’t go through arms training unless they are being sent into a hostile area?
I couldn’t take any more of Shepherd Smith so watching Lou Dobbs. Lt Gen Russel Hornore (Ret) who is the former Deputy Commander at Fort Hood is talking to Dobbs. This guy is really good explaining the procedures. Telling people to stay off the phone.
Murderer was very unhappy about being deployed. Well get prepared because now the left is going to use this to say we need to get out of these wars, because see, people are going nuts. I can just see the writing on the wall. Islam will win unless we fight back. What a mess.

This sounds like a trouble maker “shrink” in Walter Reed Medical center..... making six figures..... who won’t shut up about his counter political views. So in Army fashion they transfer him to fort hood and schedule him for deployment. And he rejected it....
If he’s so dead set against this war why is he in the military? At least now he is “dead set”.
