I cannot believe it! The press (fox news') Shep Smith was doing an interview with Kay Bailey Hutchinson (R-TX) and both of them just admitted that they had had a name (MAJ Hassan Malik) and both refused to name the MUSLIM NAME!
COWARDS!

They are saying his name all over my local news channels. Thank God they are not the chickens that Shep and KBH obviously are.

For God's Sake...Fox's news division sent me an e-mail alert quoting the AP with the guy's name in it....during Shep's show!
We're 3 minutes into Special Report and they've said his name.
When I Google-newsed the name “Malik Nadal Hasan” and sorted the results by date I noticed something peculiar: Just about every story was about 8 minutes old - except one. BBC had published a story with his name TWO HOURS PRIOR to any other news agency. Am I supposed to believe that no US news agency had that information?
Highly unlikely, IMO. My guess is somebody asked them to hold off.

Fox 7 News out of Austin reported that this Hasan guy was “upset” at being deployed to Iraq “again”.....

FoxNews was able to confirm the name from a military source a few minutes ago, and they just reported that Major Malik Nadal Hassan is indeed the dead shooter’s name.

Did they say that he is a recent convert to Islam? I gave up on Fox and put it on my local channels. THEY have the courage to tell all of the story that is known so far. Recent. Convert. To. Islam.

There is a total of 43 killed or injured...Supposedly this Major Hadan had two side arms.
Now the numbers don’t add up. Even if he was the greatest marksmen in the world. It still doesn’t compute.
Yes that was my understanding. That he had converted in VA.
