Dems break rules to pass Cap and Tax out of committee
Fox News Channel | 11/5/09

Posted on 11/05/2009 6:47:58 AM PST by pabianice

Per Fox: Barbara Boxer has forced Crap and Tirade out of committee despite rule that at least two Republicans had to be present. No Repubs were there but she passed it anyway. Change you can believe in!

rules can be broken without consequence, so why not do it, unless its illegal. Whats the point of rules if only one side follows it when the other dont

The Republicans not only go by the rules, they give away their power when they get it. My Friend.

No longer do we have a government that represents the people.

I absolutely agree with you. This state of affairs will continue until the weak kneed, wobbly, faint of heart GOP gets up and gives the dems repeated bloody noses every time they break the rules. Rabid dogs don't respond to kindness.

Only reason she can get away with this is because of her killer looks.

Rules are meaningless to our enemy....but just a little over one year ago, the President WOULD NOT go ahead with recess appointments because these same Dems sent ONE PERSON a day into the Congressional Chambers.....I JUST HOPE THAT FUTURE CONGRESSIONAL HOPEFULS ARE TAKING NOTE OF HOW THE DEMOCRATS ACT WHEN THEY ARE IN POWER!!!!!!!!

The Republicans better start making the Democrats play by the rules or refuse to play by the rules themselves. They need to announce that they will ignore rules until the Democrats start playing by them. What is sad is that their “niceness” does not even get them any points because no matter what they do, no matter how far they lean over to accomodate, they are still called “Mean” or “Meanspirited” so they might as well earn it.

Unfortunately, that's probably about the best we can hope for under the circumstances. (Sadly, no sarcasm involved.)
