We are proud to endorse Chuck DeVore for U.S. Senate in California. Chuck DeVore is a proven, tested conservative who is gaining momentum. Hes the kind of leader we can count on to stand up for common sense conservative principles in the United States Senate.
The Senate Conservatives Fund recently conducted an online poll of our members to see which candidate in California they supported. With 2,688 total votes cast, Chuck DeVore was the clear winner with 90% of the vote.
Weve examined DeVores record and interviewed him in person. We are confident that Chuck DeVore is ready to come to Washington to fight the big-government liberals who are destroying our country. Hes also willing to stand up to his own party and wont be pushed around by the Republican establishment.
Chuck DeVore opposed the stimulus, he opposed the Wall Street and auto bailouts, he opposes earmarks, and he is 100% pro-life. Chuck DeVore also has an impressive resume and has been battle-tested in the liberal California state legislature.

This would be a game-changing victory that would begin a fundamental political realignment in our country. And we're not talking necessarily about a Republican realignment. In the words of President Reagan, this is not a choice between right and left; its a choice between up or down.DeMint gets it.

DeVore enlisted in the United States Army Reserve in 1983 with the rank of private first class. He earned an ROTC scholarship and was commissioned an officer in 1985. DeVore retired with the rank of lieutenant colonel from the California Army National Guard after more than 24 years of service in 2007. Most of his time in uniform was spent in the 40th Infantry Division (Mechanized). He graduated from the U.S. Army's Military Intelligence Officer Basic Course and Advanced Course, the Combined Arms Services School, and the Command and General Staff College. DeVore's overseas military service included deployments to Panama and Korea. During the Gulf War DeVore was deployed to Fort Irwin, California where he was assigned to the Opposing Force (OPFOR). He was also called to active duty during the 1992 Los Angeles riots to patrol South Los Angeles.
From 1986 to 1988, DeVore served in the Reagan Administration as a Special Assistant for Foreign Affairs in the Department of Defense.

DeMint gets it.De Mint definitely does.
Chuck DeVore looks good and I actually sought out info on him several months ago and thought "could be a good guy".
But I admit that I am waiting for one more potential DeVore endorsement -- an even more important one to me because he worked with DeVore -- Tom McClintock's. If Tom McClintock gives DeVore the nod, I'm all in!
(PS Tom h -- I ran across one of your posts on De Vore from a few years ago, and thought you'd want to contribute to this thread since you said that you knew Chuck DeVore personally.)

Great comment from someone on that OC Register article, worth repeating:
"Fiorina was McCains economic adviser during his Presidential bid. What kind of economic advise was Fiorina giving McCain when he made that famous "the fundamentals of the economy are sound" all the while the Dow was tanking!?!"
