TEL AVIV – President Barack Obama's father was abusive and hit at least one of his American wives, Obama's half-brother disclosed at a press conference in China today.
The relationship that Barack Obama Sr. had with his third wife might shed some light into the mysterious relationship between Obama's mother, Ann Dunham, and Barack Obama Sr. It also may provide some background into why Dunham sought a divorce from Obama Sr., although there is actually no record of their marriage.
Mark Okoth Obama Ndesandjo – who had the same, late, father as the U.S. president – spoke to reporters as part of the launch a novel he says draws on his painful childhood under an abusive father.
Ndesandjo's mother, Ruth, was American. She was third wife for Obama Sr. Ruth followed Obama Sr. to Kenya when he returned there after studying at Harvard in 1965. She eventually had two children with him before they divorced.
Ndesandjo's new book, "Nairobi to Shenzhen" was released as a fictional account, but he said it started off nearly 10 years ago as an autobiography and "reflects many experiences in my own life as a child brought up in Kenya" including a troubled relationship with his father.

It is highly unlikely he even saw BHOjr. when he was a baby/toddler and I doubt he would have physically struck him during his visit in 1971.

The half brother writing that Obama Sr. beat his mother is probably a good indicator that Sr. was a wife beater of all five wives.
However, I don’t think Ms. Dunham actually lived w/ senior for very long.
Don’t know about this, but I do know Mom and Dad were both Marxists.
I have a professional colleague who lived three doors doors from Barack Sr. in Kenya.
He tells a tale of Barack Sr. chasing his other white wife through the neighborhood, with her saying “help me” “save me”.
He also says that it was VERY clear that she neither wanted to be helped nor saved.
It sounds more like it was a playful game to me...
I think the article says that the bro’s mom was NOT Ann.
