Amid rumors that prominent Broward attorney Scott Rothstein has returned to town and may try to go to his law firm, Fort Lauderdale police on Tuesday surrounded his firm's building at 401 E. Las Olas Blvd.
On Monday, the politically influential firm attempted to oust Rothstein amid a criminal investigation into his business dealings.
The investigation into Rothstein, a major fundraiser for Gov. Charlie Crist, Chief Financial Officer Alex Sink and other major politicians has left candidates in the lurch and the law firm reeling. The firm -- Rothstein Rosenfeldt Adler -- was a top sponsor of a Fort Lauderdale golf benefit Friday chaired by former Gov. Jeb Bush.

Rather than taking joy is seeing one of Crist’s friends get raked, maybe some more facts are needed and judgment reserved until the full story is clear.

Yes. This is the guy. I read the article. He would get PI’s to go through the garbage and pressure people to settle in sexual harassment suits and other stuff. He would try to get dirt to force them to settle to keep quiet. It sound slike borderline blackmail.
He would get investors to put up money to invest in these settlements. Very sleazy stuff.

No. Only RINOs. He did raise money for Holy Cross Hospital according to the article. The hospital is run by nuns.
Making a least some donations to Christians who believe in the Christian and not the Karl Marx version of “social justice” would be a good litmus test to block those who, in my opinion, are out to both make the GOP into a wing of the DNC and to hurt the Christian faith. Anyone who doesn’t support at least some true conservative Christian candidates should be exposed and driven off. They only make problems.
Democrats have people in their party this faction or the other can’t stand. But they all at least make some serious gesture to elect those with whom they disagree. And they certainly don’t run out and bash other Democrats are we see these phonies doing.
