I realize that many of us were critical of Palin for resigning her post as governor.

But it appears more and more all the time that she did indeed have an ulterior motive.

I was worried she’d fade into oblivion. Just the opposite is happening.

I consider her and Rush being in the news nearly constantly these days a victory.

She did have an ulterior motive: Prevent family bankruptcy and maybe losing their house in order to pay over one-half million dollars in attorney's fees to answer, defend and win dismissal of the frivolous false ethics charges continually filed against her by the Rats. Apparently the laws in Alaska are so strict that it does not allow use of state money to defend oneself and even formation of a legal defense fund was subject to an ethics complaint. Addi tonally, time spent answering these meant time she was not able to govern so the state suffered from her lack of leadership.
