That is a huge generality manufactured by the leftist MSM, and you ought to know that if you're a conservative (and a Freeper).

I know it because I talk to a lot of people who are not FReepers, and who are not conservative (which doesn't automatically mean, btw, that they're liberals, though some of them are). Their impression of Sarah Palin is informed by their own dislike of her mannerisms and put off by her apparent lack of knowledge about important current events. Her performance during the campaign did not help her in that regard. And, of course, they've seen and enjoyed the uncomfortably accurate portrayals of her by the likes of Tina Fey.

Demonstrate to who? You? The radical left?

To the people whose votes she would need in order to be elected to national office.

This isn't rocket science, FRiend ... it's just a realistic assessment of where Sarah Palin stands right now. She has an image problem that needs to be seriously addressed. Hiding from her problems is not going to solve them.

Well, that explains a lot. You're obviously running in non-conservative, or even liberal circles and absorbing their twisted viewpoints. Choose your friends more wisely.

Their impression of Sarah Palin is informed by their own dislike of her mannerisms and put off by her apparent lack of knowledge about important current events. Her performance during the campaign did not help her in that regard.

Utter rubbish. Their "impression" of Sarah Palin was wholly formed by the unreasoning and vitriolic attacks of the radical left during the campaign. Sarah Palin never uttered a single word, or did anything to warrant the level of blind hatred and dislike she's gotten from rank and file liberals.

I personally witnessed this reaction amongst liberals in my own family, not 24 hours after Sarah made her debut on the national stage. What possible due diligence could any of them have done on her in that short amount of time, for them to have formed such negative opinions of her? Answer: absolutely none.

Any rational person who simply listened to what she had to say, and who gave her record in politics even a cursory glance could not have formed anything but a favorable opinion of her, at that moment. Yet liberals all over the country immediately began hurling insults and invalidations her way.

Again, every rational person who was watching understood exactly where that was coming from.

It appears to me that you are foursquare in sync with the liberal mindset regarding Sarah Palin; most likely because you have close associations with them, and (strangely) respect their opinions.
